I have a new baby at home, so my computer time is limited to about 45 minute stints. I've yet to be able to get past the queue and get in during one of my blocks.
Opinions on whether I should keep trying to play?
Not sure if posted but I thought I would share: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlapGenbUMo

In the video options, there's a section called "Troubleshooting" for some reason that just opens up even more advanced options. Such as frame rate lock, etc. I wasn't able to activate 120hz until I opened that up.

So I am trying to download the game, and after about 2-3 minutes of downloading, the client starts uploading and maxing out my connection on the upload (was at like 300 KB/s). I can change the QOS on it, but I have no idea what it could be uploading. I stopped it and tried to download it again with the same result. Both times was from the direct download link at the publisher's website. Anyone else experience this? I have only let it go maybe 4-5 minutes because I didn't know what was causing my internet to stall out at first, but that is still 60-70 MB of data uploaded.
Thanks for the suggestion, didn't work for me though. I tried resetting default values and tried both no frame lock and then 120hz.
What is it with MMO's these days and the buggy support for 120hz monitors? First Defiance, now Neverwinter...guess I try again a few months, hopefully they'll have it sorted by then.
Invisible walls, quest hubs, etc... this game has nothing for me. Just another template MMO. Oh well.

Wow arent we the hard core nugget
I'm on beholder as well. I'm having fun with this for now but I'm not sure how I feel about it. A lot are saying its pay to win.
It's not relaly pay to win, just a lolt of people annoyed at how expensive the cash shop is (40 bucks for mount or a companion is quit ea lot of money, especially compared to other f2p games with a cash shop.
Maximized borderless window or fullscreen - does one mode run better than the other?
Also, why isn't there an anisotropic filtering option? I don't get why every game doesn't have this option since there's no performance impact. Or is it just 16x enabled by default?
Free's free. Why not try it? My boy BiH115 here has spelled out enough tantalizing tidbits for me. Can't hurt none.
