What are you using for speaker stands? I have some BIC DV62si and they are sadly, sitting on the floor.

Hey. These are the stands i'm using; http://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Satellite-Speaker-MS06BP-1SP/dp/B000VRREPG

I added thick rubber washers between the speaker and the top plate to damp out any vibrations and I drilled the bases out for spikes. For the price, they're excellent. There's a little cap you can pop off on the top plate that will let you run cables down the pole.

Now that is much better, thanks for that. It makes browsing the board much quicker without having to scroll through full resolution pictures =P I did the same thing under your post though, then I realized and just re scaled it with imageshack and all is well.

They're actually just cardboard / heavy paper stock. At that link, there are a lot of other styles, but none mention any acoustic benefits like the ones I linked. I'm no audiophile, but this had higher "Wife Acceptance" than actual foam sound deadening. Plus, we got to paint it and choose a pattern for it, so it's "custom"

12 sqft for $36 is a bargain. Not sure what the properties are but I think it is more a defuser than deadening.
