Does anyone know if these exist? Ever seen one? I have found a passive one but I need an active one.

I'm curious, why would you want to go from DP to HDMI? Something like this wouldn't do the trick?

To get around nvidia's broken linux drivers that cant do full spec HDMI.

I was just looking at that exact same page (LOL) the manufacturor says HDMI 1.3 but I don't think it allows for the full bandwidth. I need something that can push 300 Mhz pixeclock for 3840x2160.

I don't think it will either. The specs on that adapter only claim up to 2.25Gbps which equates to Standard HDMI. From the HDMI official homepage:

Standard (or “category 1”) HDMI cables have been tested to perform at speeds of 75Mhz or up to 2.25Gbps, which is the equivalent of a 720p/1080i signal.
