EA Origin Tomb Raider $25

Steamworks title... Does that mean I can buy it on Origin and activate it on Steam?

Cool if true, but I hadn't heard of something like that before.

It mentions nothing about Steam on the Origin page; I really doubt it activates on Steam. The non-Origin versions are probably all Steamworks but I assume that this version will be Origin based like BF3.

Just a question since I might recommend this to a friend, but how does the multiplayer work if its handled through Steam matchmaking on the PC on Origin?

Not sure why this game is already on sale @ $25, the game was worth it at full price, this is a good deal!

why on earth would it mention Steam on the Origin page?!?!?:rolleyes:

The Keys are released by the Game Devs, and such they activate in Origin and Steam. Just like a lot of EA games that are in your steam from a long time ago, can be activated in Origin.

Bought and used serial # to activate via Steam. No need for Origin. Thanks sure sounds like a good game.

SquareEnix is having major financial problems. In their latest report, they expected this game to move 5m units in the first month or something. So I'm guessing budget for this game was astronomical.

Its an amazing game, sure it has its share of trolls and its not everyones cup of tea, but they did an amazing job on an amazing game (did I say amazing enough). Its just a bummer this game sold so poorly.

This game is a no-brainer at this price. It was worth it at full price. Game you can lose yourself in for a while, lots of fun.

Sweet deal, thanks. It's automatically added to your Origin library, but you can also activate the key on Steam (which is where I'm downloading/playing from). I'm really not sure how it would work if you launched via Origin. Maybe it would just load up Steam on top of it? (sort of like how Far Cry 3 loads Uplay on top of Steam)
