Someone sold a baby of Facebook? The bright side is that people are actually using the Facebook marketplace feature. :D

Police have arrested three people after a newborn boy was sold on Facebook. Police said the grandfather took the baby while his daughter was sleeping, told her the child had died, and sold the boy to a nurse for $850 (45,000 rupees), Punjab Newsline reports. A lab assistant at the hospital allegedly brokered the deal on Facebook with a man who came to Ludhiana to pick up the baby.

LOL Babies sure aren't worth much. Then again I wouldn't pay money for something that vomits and poops all over and you spend the next 18 miserable years caring for either.
 
I was under the impression this was pretty common in India, to be honest I was moderately shocked there were arrests made.
 
Way too mcuh money. You can only get about 2 quarts of baby oil from each one, which is worth less than $50.

True, kids are really expensive. My friend adopted and it cost him about $10,000 then diapers and formula could easily tally up to $150 a month. then you need clothes, cribs, bottles, drop ins, its never ending...

I have 2 small ones.. a 2 and a 1 year old..

I've got 5 kids. To have more kids after the first one takes a good sense of humor.;)
