AMD launched their Never Settle bundle as a part of their “Gaming Evolved” initiative last year and since then has seen some major updates. The most major updates were the recently released “Never Settle” and “Never Settle: Reloaded” bundles which offered AMD GPU buyers with a wide range of game promotions depending on the model of the card they bought.

AMD didn’t only stop at bundling latest games with their Radeon HD 7000 series but like their rival NVIDIA, released a new range of graphical features such as the highly praised “Tress FX” effect which used OpenCL to render Lara Croft’s hair more realistic with accurate physics in her latest adventurer’s in Tomb Raider, the game was also bundled with AMD GPUs. The TressFX’s OpenCL rendering is sometimes called as AMD’s answer to PhysX from NVIDIA.

During the GDC 2013 announcement of Battlefield 4, it was revealed that AMD’s upcoming Radeon HD 7990 was the graphic card running the 17 minutes of gameplay of the game and that too in 4K resolution downscaled to 1080P. Later on, it was reported that AMD might possibly be bundling the card with DICE’s Battlefield 4 game and a further AMD Never Settle bundle was being planned for launch that would be including Watch Dogs and a few other “yet to be announced” PC titles.

The folks over at TechReport forums seem to have found a confidential image of what seems to be a roadmap of AMD Never Settle bundle and would be including eight of the latest upcoming titles to spice up the value of AMD GPUs in 2013. These include some of the major blockbuster titles of 2013 such as Battlefield 4, Grid 2, Watch Dogs and Company of Heroes 2 which without a doubt are the most hyped around games of this year. The titles are listed below:Battlefield 4

GRID2
Company Of Heroes 2
Total War: Rome II
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Lost Planet 3
Raven’s Cry
Watch Dogs

It can be noted that we won’t be looking at all of these games to be included in a single AMD Never Settle bundle alone. AMD has in the past made set of four titles for their Never Settle bundle so its likely that they would be following the same order again. Since Battlefield 4 and Watch Dogs are pitted for Q3/Q4 2013 launch dates, we may be looking at their bundles later in the year, possibly when AMD is on the verge on launching their Radeon HD 8000 series. As for titles like Company of Heroes 2, Lost Planet 3 and Grid 2, they are scheduled for launch earlier so they may be possibly coming with the next AMD never settle bundle.

Nevertheless, if this is true then AMD certainly would be adding more value for their consumers by giving them some of the latest titles to be available in 2013. AMD would also be expanding their Gaming Evolved programme amongst their Trinity and Richland APUs by bundling select A-series chips with SimCity.

Props to AMD for pushing out nice bundles. I just hope they can earn a profit someday.

I think AMD's gameplan right now is to get a considerable market share, thus having more sway and pushing-power to have optimized software and such. Once this happens, tge money will flow.

surprised to see Watch Dogs on that list...I'm sure a lot of people will sell the game codes online so Nvidia owners should be happy as well :D

That's if they don't go under first. Plus I wonder how much money they have to pay to shell out these games with their cards? They must be taking a pretty sizable hit in profits despite getting these keys in bulk. If nvidia didn't exist they could just raise the price of their cards to offset the losses but that isn't the case here and their discrete market share is well below nvidia so its not like volume is making up for it.

Wow just bought 4 radeons yet will buy some for company of heroes 2 lol

For real... this is spectacular savings no matter how you cut it. Either sell them or play them, you come out ahead.

A BF4, Watch Dog and Grid 2 bundle would be awesome.
Pair that with a 7990 with good drivers, and I just may bite.
But the Titan LE is tempting. Hard to shake my Nv addiction.

AMD itself isn't taking a hit to include the games.

It is the retailers the ones taking the hit, that is why it isn't "any and every" AMD card, but from select retailers.

Also with the 3 console wins, even with small margins, i don't see them going under.

Did you see their latest financial report? All losses which is business as usual for AMD. Would you invest in AMD stock?

No, but still:
a) they are not the ones taking a hit from the bundles,
b) they are now gonna start reaping the benefits of the console wins.

If said benefits are enough or not, we shall see in due time.

How do you know they're not taking a loss on the bundles? No retailer would take on that loss, it would be idiotic given the razor thin margins.

Yes AMD stock could be a very good (short term) investment indeed, based on the patterns for their stock and expected results from new cards and consoles....just take a look at their stock from November 2012 to end of January 2013 almost 50% increase in their stock price, not to bad, looking for a replay later this year ;)

Holy smokes..Wow. Way to go Team RED!

I may not need another AMD card soon, but I'm sure there'll be a lot of people selling codes for these games, so it's a win-win for all, I suppose.

Well they sold me a 7950 later on this year if it has BF4 and Watchdogs bundled with it.

My only regret? That saints row 4 or GTA5 aren't on there, but I guess I can manage "somehow"

Couldn't say a nice thing about AMD, could you? :p
For shame!

I'm a fan of both companies...just so happen to currently have an Nvidia card...I'm definitely a fan of these crazy good game bundles they are offering along with the new TressFX feature...the fact that both next gen consoles will be AMD is making me seriously think about them for my next video card purchase

Great video cards with a very generous game bundle make it an unbeatable deal.

Enjoy it while we can.

Then maybe stop spinning every good thing AMD does into, somehow, a benefit for nVidia and give credit where credit is due. There's nothing to do with nVidia in the thread title at all, so perhaps keep the subject where it is. Right?

Way ahead of you.

This will push me over the edge to purchase a 7950. Thanks, AMD.

I do wonder though if we will see an effort to compete with the bundle from the other side.

sensitive much?...wasn't spinning anything...look at my post history praising TressFX...I'm video card manufacturer neutral...I said it's a great deal for Nvidia owners as well due to people selling the game codes...if you want it to be all about praising AMD then it's obvious which side of the fence you reside on...I do notice AMD fans are more sensitive and perceive everything to be a slight when none was intended to begin with

I fail to see how anything you said was for or against anything, you owe the troll no explanation or verification of what you said.

You stated that a game was on that list and people would be selling those codes so there would be discounted copies of the game readily available.
