Please, can you guys give me links to not just benchmarks like.. well I just got home from work and my tired brain is not remembering the names, oh 3d mark and the flying city one, can people please send me all the pretty, flashy demos?

I like checking out what my vid card / system can do, so not so much pre-rendered video clips more like things that run in real time and show neat graphics.

Both DX and GL.

Thank you all in advance

play games and toggle the framerate counter when you get curious. ;)

As I suspect you already well know, it is not the same.

I have plenty of pretty games, like Skyrim, they are not polished the same way benchmarks and technology demos can be.

Nvidia has tons of tech demos on its site. AMD also has some.

Guru3d has plenty of benchmark and demos like Catzilla benchmark, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil and more.

The nvida frog is the best tech demo ever it will never be topped. I wish it was a screen saver I would run it all day.

Ya, froggy and gems are pretty nifty.

There is an old open gl one I used to have. With some neat lighting effects, set in the attic of a house. GL excess or some-such. Wish I still had that one.

Thanks for the others. Appreciate any and all. I like looking at the tech demos and benches, often they have some very nice artwork and FX's.

Be a matter of time we'll have real-time ray tracing benchmarks to see how fast our systems can crunch out a model.

I usually find tech demos team biased and are useless. Real gaming is more of a better benchmark

Tech demos look good.

My point and what I am interested in.

I'm not so much interested in getting numbers as seeing some nice art and some decent shows that push the edge of current hardware.

It is a pity that while there are some great effects like in that Gems demo, it is kinda hard to implement them in a big scene like in games due to performance issues.

New GPU's on the market... any new demo programs to download?

What is this I hear about Nvidia loading huge textures into system ram?
