Hey y'all

Fairly sure I won't get that many responses but it's worth a try anyway: I'm looking for recommendations for a Laserjet printer for a small business. Here are the main info:
- No need for color at all
- They can easily print up to a thousand pages per week. So something really sturdy would be important.
- Budget is around $1000 to $2000.
- Must be a HP printer as they've had really good luck with those printers.
- They're located in the U.S and Fry's is the only locally available computer hardware store. They're more than willing to buy online.
- Must have a network port
- No need for duplex printing
- 45PPM at a minimum.

On a semi-related note, does anyone know what exactly causes a HP Laserjet 4250 to print fuzzy, jams constantly, and literally print full black pages?

Feel free to ask for more info and I shall provide them if I can.

Lexmark T652n would be my go-to model. I have plenty of the older versions that have printed 200,000+ pages without major issues.

Search in google for "Laserjet 4250 service manual" for any decent printer there's a service manual with an entire section on troubleshooting image problems. For e.g. if you have repeating marks from top to bottom you measure the distance between them and based on the circumference of certain parts in the printer you can narrow it down.

And yes the first/simplest step in troubleshooint print quality issues it to try another toner.

I think if I was printing that many documents, I would want a bigger paper tray.

Seems the HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 Printer M602n only has a 500 sheet paper tray, I think I would rather this one;

HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M601dn Workgroup Up to 45 ppm Monochrome Laser Printer

Seems to be able to hold up to 3600 sheets.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll take a look at those printers.

They do make a 1500 sheet tray for the M602n but that is a $500 add-on (can see under accessories tab at the HP link). Still may be worth it for the right customer if running out of paper is a major issue.
