Whats up everyone. I am new to posting in these forums but had a question or two about my newest setup. I just got these 680 Lightnings in SLI and started some benching. I used the newest beta drivers 314.14 and seemed to have gotten slightly better performance.

I cant run Heaven bench for some odd reason because it crashes about 2 seconds into the bench on all different settings even after a clean windows wipe.

I can however run Valley and here are my numbers on the extreme preset:

Min = 38
Avg = 77
Max = 136

Do this seem on par to you guys?

Also, I run a custom fan profile that ramps up slightly more than stock and my cards reach about 65 and 61 degrees. Does this sound a bit warm for these cards? My motherboard is set up so that there is a slot between the cards so there is a bit of air flow between. They also seem to idle at about 39 and 35 degrees.

I also did the newest 3DMark Firefall test and scored 96XX. Not sure of the exact number. And for the heck of it I tried the new FFXIV AAR bench on one card and got 81 FPS average and a score of 95XX points. This was max settings as well.

I am just trying to see if there are any settings I may or may not be using to get the best out of this setup! Thanks.

Your temps sound fine. One card is going to be hotter with the non-blower type coolers and 65C is below the throttle point.

Good to hear. I will stick to this custom fan profile as it seems to be working OK. I ordered 3 more fans. Two of them are 90+ CFM NZXT fans and one is the Silverstone FHP-141 which is roughly 170 CFM. I will use that silverstone as the center front intake. Should help temps out a bit.

Do the bench results look on par with other 680s? I am having trouble finding benches I can go off of.

I am ordering a new PSU in a day or so. Probably a seasonic x-1250 for futureproofing. I will wait till then before I do a whole lot of OC' ing. Thanks for the replies!

You have a very similar setup to mine. Are the two 680's struggling with your 850w psu?

I just got a gtx680 and it's great, but if I were to buy another one down the road, just curious how my 850psu would do

I use a Corsair 850 and it's been fine for 2x 680 in the past so I wouldn't worry about it.

A 750 is fine for two 680s. So 850 is plenty.

I ended up ordering a AX1200i.
