AMD Catalyst 13.2 Beta 7

All this seems to do for me is totally kill crossfire in game, only 1 gpu loading now, previously all 3 were loading to around 60% (not great but better than 1 at 100%).
 
Just upgraded it from beta 6. I have a 7950 and there is a bit improvement in Crysis 3.
 
Okay guys running 3 7970s at 1920x1200 , 2600k @ 4600mhz with everything ingame maxed and 2xsmaa I get in single player 60 to 100 Fps, inMtiayer I'm averaging a lil more 75 to 115. My Gpu utilization on all 3 cards never gos highe then 66% so I would love to see if they can get it higher.

Good to hear 3+ gpus is doing well with these drivers. I was planning to ping you or eclipse to see what luck you guys have had with the beta drivers. From what AMD has told me, the drivers (13.1 release) more "efficiently" utilize the cards. (i dunno)

I have not played Crysis 3 yet but with BF3 running 13.1 release, I can say that yes utilization appears lower than say 12.10, however fps appears to be the same as was showing with 12.10 at 99% utilization. My cards do hit 99% but it depends upon the map, what I am doing, etc... But mostly utilization is around 60ish % too. Who knows.
 
Well my 2 Titans are supposed to be here tommorow, Not sure what ill be doing with my 2 7970s, sell them or move them around to other machines. I have a dedicated PC for my Logitech G27/Playseat setup in my basement, that is running 2 6970s quite nicely still :)
 
Good luck with your Titans. Be sure and post back your experience with em, I be curious for sure.

Driver notes state nothing for Tomb Raider. Weak.

On a related note, are CAP profiles still recommended for separate installation? Last I have is 12.11 CAP 2... I've seen talk that CAP is now included with the drivers, but not too sure (been without internet for about 2 months).
 
Kind of tempted to try this but apprehensive at the same time. Everything post 12.10 has crashed my PC upon arriving on the desktop.
 
did some tests with tomb raider comparing 13.2 beta 6 and beta 7:

Beta 6

tress fx enabled everything else at ultimate at 3800x1920:

min fps: 2.2
max fps: 36.6
avg fps: 23.1


tress fx disabled everything else at ultimate at 3800x1920:

min fps: 4.8
max fps: 54.5
avg fps: 48.5

Something I noticed with TressFX enabled is my second card hovers around 50% usage while the first is at around 95%. With TressFX disabled both cards are around 95%


Beta 7

3800x1920 ultimate settings (tress FX enabled)

min fps: 4.3
max fps: 44.7
avg fps: 36.9

3800x1920 ultimate settings (tress fx disabled)

min fps: 4.1
max fps: 54.4
avg fps: 47.6

Crossfire with TressFX enabled had the cards locked at 96% usage Beta 7 drivers fixed the issue I guess.

For the lolz:

1920x1200 ultrimate settings (tressfx enabled)

min fps: 4.0
max fps: 110.0
avg fps: 92.6
