Been waiting for my tax refund to come in and finally got it. Going to build myself a new PC, currently running on one I built back in high school with an intel 2 duo core. So it is a little lacking.

I play a lot of EVE where I multibox (8-10 clients at a time) so this is my current plan:

Intel i7 3930k
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
32gb Ram (4x8gb) (Maybe Patriot not too sure yet had thought about being a little more spendy and getting the ripjaw 2133 ones)
corsair 1050w psu
256 gb ssd (not sure what)
2 tb sata 3 HD (once again not sure what)
cheap blu ray burner

Casw: Corsair 800d (although I secretly want to wait for the 900d its sexy)

Probably going to do some kind of water cooling not sure.

Will be running triple monitors, currently on two viewsonic 24" led, trying to decide if I want to just buy one more and go with that or maybe do a portrait/lanscape/portrait set up with 20/30/20 monitor. Still up in the air.

Now here the question what video card been told to do a 660/650/650 combo thought about 3x 660 combo. Now thinking about 3x 580 combo. Not really sure what will be best. Spending less is always good but willing to spend for performance. Probably a 600-700 dollar budget here.

Would love some feedback!

(sorry to copy and paste from other thread in a hurry gotta go to work)

I'd get a 3rd and do portrait or landscape depending on the game. PLP tech just isn't there yet (from what I've read)

Eve is not to hard on the graphics (unless you are in a mission site wth a gas cloud or inside the captians quarters).

I would chose 660's because they draw less power than the 500 series have batter performance and produce less heat. If you are planning to run 3 gpu's then that might be something to consider.

I also intend to play other games I probably should have mentioned that I guess lol, wanna play Farcry and a few others as well. Would like to be able to play with ultra graphics or at least one of the higher on one of the screens at least. Would like it to be able to do well with some of the future games as well.

660 is a horrible choice for muti monitors (bus width). You should be looking at 670/7950 and up. Honestly if your doing a build like that might as well just get 7970 xfire or 680 4gb sli (or 7950/670)

Seems like 7970s used aren't too expensive. Maybe 2x of those would be good. Any suggestions on a specific model/brand
