Sapphire or Gigabyte 7950?

Alright. I was going to get the Gigabyte one on Superbiiz, but they're out of stock, and conveniently, also the only vendor that is including free games.
 
i can't say for the sapphire card (although i've only heard good things about sapphire), i personally own the gigabyte windforce and it has been great! it's already factory overclocked and the heatsink that is on there works wonders for keeping it cool under load and at idle.

now i don't do eyefinity as i don't care for it but so far i've been able to play every game that has hit my hands at 1920x1080 with no issues at max settings. i think you will be happy with either of those cards.

i went with gigabyte based on review sites and the heatsink design. keep in mind your case should have good cooling as heat is being blown into your case.
 
My 7950 OC from Sapphire is really nice. It was one of the more bulletproof purchases I've made.
 
I second the sapphire cards. My Sapphire 950 runs great and the fans are nearly silent under load
 
Sapphire. I rarely see faulty cards from them, however, I see Gigabyte products fail quite often. Gigabyte RMA service is pretty shoddy, also.

I second what Kazeo said, there are a number of threads on here about very poor customer service from Gigabyte.

good god, i hope my card doesn't crap out. it's been rock solid since day 1. knock on wood!
 
I've had one Sapphire card in the recent past and I had to send it back as it would overheat.

I really don't think you're making a big mistake one way or the other. Any company can have a dud or a winner.
 
I wonder why only a select couple of vendors are honoring the "Free 3 games with purchase?"

because according to AMD's website, that deal should come with ANY 7900 series card.

there may be a fine print somewhere that states resellers have to the right to package as they wish or "while supplies last" is also a good one. i remember when samsung 830 ssd drives were sold with free batman arkham city and it was "while supplies last" as there was a limited number of downloads provided to samsung to bundle with their drives.
 
Superbiiz has the bundle going, but they're out of stock of the video card I want lol
 
Go with gigabyte it has a 3year warrenty as compare to a 2yr offer by the other brand
