So, those with personal experience only please...just testing a theory...

HATE it or LOVE it?

Had one on my OG Droid back in the day. It was pretty rubbery/grippy (not the kind of properties you want on a touch screen) and had a pretty bad orange peel effect. I much preferred the XO skin I put on my Gnex because it felt much skicker and smoother dragging my finger it and it didn't have the orange peel texture. For my Note 2 I put a iSmooth dry protector on it because I don't think the softer protectors like the Zagg and XO skin would work well with the S-Pen. I'm happy with it so far too other than it was a PITA it apply without imperfections compared to a wet application protector like the Zagg and XO skin.

I think protectors are counter productive for touch phones, but if it works for you go fer it.

Hate Zagg, don't mind other companies. BestSkinsEver or XtremeGuard feel better, look nicer, are more durable, just don't have the lifetime warranty. Oh, and they're $2 for a full body skin, if you use a coupon. Plus they have individual holes cut out of the skin for sensors/buttons, instead of the Zagg policy of cutting out a huge piece of the skin to make all the sensors fit.

After 6 months with one, I removed it because I didnt like the feel of it any more. Eventually few months later the three other smartphones in my family went without theirs also. It just feels and looks so much better.

the cutting is bad, the texture is bad, and the quality is bad.

the only thing good is the application method.

I didn't like my Zagg protectors I used. They were far too soft and I couldn't drag my finger across it. It skipped across the screen instead. XtremeGuard is what I use on all of my devices.

I use a Zagg since I can go to the mall kiosk anytime I want, give the Zagg dude $5, and get a new screen protector. If the screen protector is anything less than perfect, they will keep trying until they get one on there with 0 dust specks.

I actually like the orange peel texture of them. Had a few protectors with no texture and I hated them.

I've used them in the past but don't care for them. With modern screens using gorilla glass and with special coatings to make touch 'better', it never feels quite the same. Plus they often look pretty ugly unless professionally installed. Even then, they usually don't fit perfectly.

I Had a Zagg and an XO skin --

Zagg was rubbery -- orange peel -- fingers didn't slide unless it had face oil on the screen (who the hell wants that?)

XO was better but still annoying. This was all on my galaxy nexus.

With glass the way it is today -- I'd rather run without a screen protector and actually enjoy the phone. I've been running without a screen protector and i have ZERO scratches on my phone. And I'm pretty rough with them. Pockets full of change, screwing around with it at the bar, at work, dropping it in my car.

Before gorilla glass or the hardened stuff we have today I'd have totally run a screen protector. Now? not so much.

The last time I used a Zagg invisible shield it was on my LG vx8700. It worked really well but I never bothered to explore it for my touchscreens because the texture was very rubbery, not slick. I never needed it on my droid incredible because that glass was tough as nails, but I made the mistake of doing the same thing on my GNex. A couple months later and it was covered in small scratches, so I wound up going with the xgear fantom instead of the Zagg. Its gotten pretty scratched up as well, but at least its disposable(ish) and feels like glass

they are a pain to put on but i love mine. I only use zagg for all my devices. When i take my units in for trade credit they are in like new condition.

I now have the full body cover for my Iphone 4gs. No other protection for this phone.... SO far has gone through a full year of use and i have to say that after several drops... the phone still looks brand new.

I have herd of what others complain about here.... just have not experienced it myself.

Based on some suggestions in this thread I went for an XTREME GUARD for the new HTC DNA. Just put it on...I agree with most points made here...less orange peel texture, more clarity, and smoother texture...the rest remains to be seen over the next few months. It seems like it will be as durable and adherent as the Zagg. We'll see.

Used Zagg, really not a fan of such covers at this point. Modern screens are quite durable for anything that will happen in actual use, maybe worthwhile if you let children use your stuff. Beyond that if I'm worried I'll grab some sort of insurance/warranty plan.

I am indifferent with the product. I would only buy them when they have their 50% off or greater sales. I find other products like phantomskinz or best skins ever to work just as well.

I never had any issues with Zagg. The Invisible Shield works well and holds up for a good amount of time... Once it's time to replace, Zagg makes sure that you're taken care. I stopped using the product because I'd rather have complete protection rather than just protection from minor scratches. Overall, if the Invisible Shield is something that satisfies your needs then that is all that matters.

I hate them all... I don't see the need with Gorilla Glass etc

I've used Zagg Invis before and was satisfied, but ended up picking a more durable series of cases. If you're looking for scratch protection only, then this will work ;) Great customer service and product replacement too.
