Amazon is selling Mass Effect 3 at 50% off for $14.99 or the Digital Deluxe version for $19.99 and allows using the $5 Editor Choice promo if you bought a game in November/December, dropping the prices to $9.99 and $14.99 respectively.

The promotion is applied automatically during checkout.

Note about the Editor's Choice promos: If you have one or several, do not hoard them too much as they are only valid until January 31st. These holiday sales may be the best chance to combine them for truly excellent deals.

I was disapointed with a majority of the game (not just the ending), but well worth it at that price.

Wow. It wasn't that bad. The game is actually pretty solid aside from a few minor complaints outside of the ending. And that's actually better than it was. And if you want a happy ending there is now a mod for that.

Multiplayer is enjoyable as are all the DLC's.

I thought ME3 was excellent, even with the disappointing ending. The revised ending made the game a masterpiece.

As for bad endings, ME3's wasn't even remotely close to the insulting stupidity and senselessness of Half-Life 2's end.

There is no reason to knock the game... With 100 hours invested into the story, I enjoyed every minute of it. Granted, I didn't like the way the last one ended but I still don't think the entire game sucked just because I didn't like the ending...

How the hell can it take 100 hours to do the single player story? Or is that more than one playthrough? I've completed every part of the game with no dialog skipping in less than 40 hours. My first playthrough of any of these games is typically a little bit longer with 4 or 5 more hours into them than later playthroughs but I still don't get how people take 75 and 100 hours to complete these games.

Doing every side quest, mission and story line with all DLC's doesn't take that long. ME2 is the longest game and ME1 has all that time consuming exploration and neither of them take that long to complete.

He meant all three took a total of 100 hours. He even specifies the last one's ending, meaning he is including the first two.

When I said story, I meant the entire ME trilogy... as Subtle stated above... all 3 games together.

I think he is referring to having 100 hours into the series. And someone cleared that up while I was typing.

Got it. I played through ME1 3 times, ME2 11 times and ME3 6 times. I have about 183 hours invested in the ME3 multiplayer game since they started tracking that in the N7 HQ.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a credit and had forgotten all about it.

FYI, and maybe it's mentioned elsewhere, but here's a link to ALL of the EC 2012 games that you can apply credit towards. I see they have the Mass Effect Trilogy for $29.99... I haven't played the games at all (been on my "to do list" forever!) and it's kind of tempting. :)

Mass Effect is one of the all-time great series, with fantastic storytelling, production quality, and more.

mass effect 3 shows for $20 now at the $14 link.

try that one instead for the $15

The price shown is correct. If you purchased a game in December or November you would have received a $5 credit towards an "Editors Choice" game; so it's only $15 if you have said credit, otherwise it's $20.

The link I posted earlier shows all games that have been selected as "EC" and should all qualify for whatever discount(s) one might have.

No it's not correct. OP posted the following:

There are 2 versions of ME3 the deluxe (what the OP linked) and the regular (what I linked) Both of the OP links go to the DELUX version that can be had for $15 after promotional code. The regular version can be had for $10 after code

Can you gift the codes or games? I've got ME3, and bought stuff in Dec for the $5 bonus coupon, but have a relative I'd like in on the deal.

You can't gift the codes since they are not codes and are automatically applied. However since ME3 requires Origin you can just give your relative the CD key and have them register it on Origin.

Is the digital deluxe version worth it? I don't have the 5 dollar promo code, so the standard version seems more appealing to me.

Deluxe version just offers soundtracks, and some extra weapons... Personally I just went for the standard version for $10

The delxu version also offers one of the dlc with another potential team mate.

In for ME3 for $10 after promo code. Thanks OP

doesn't show 9.99$ for me. Also those promo's were only valid on xmas.

Such a polarizing game. For myself, this game was probably my favorite franchise of all time, (Assassin's Creed, Bethesda rank up there to get an idea). I still listen to the soundtrack. I think a lot of the anger is from people who just didn't want to to end. I was sad to see it end; this was the first time I have actually experienced what could be a pale shade of "sorrow" for the conclusion of a video game story line. Commander Shepard has to be the greatest hero in video game history.

I think it was more along the lines that people were sad to see it end so poorly. The ending was so rushed and poorly written.

Consider this though: the longtime writer of KOTOR and ME 1/2 left before the writing of ME 3. I think the writiers of ME 3 at best got some notes, but possibly not even that, and he was a BIG factor behind the quality of the games.

I know they are planning a new series in the ME universe, either set before or after the beloved trilogy. I think a lot will hinge on the writing once again. Getting the tech right is the easy part. What set Mass Effect apart was the astonishingly good story-telling, and unrivaled voice-acting,
