Any ITX cases that will fit a triple slot gpu?

After switching to mATX a year ago, I've been itching to go even smaller but I still really like my enormous triple slot ASUS 7970 DCU II. Are there any itx cases with the magical 3rd slot or a nice dead space for my hulking gpu to fit in?
 
I would get a mid tower that can hold the itx mobo. The best i have seen is a 2 slot itx case but i would wait on someone with more info on this subject.
 
Doubtful. Most ITX cases are designed to save space, and 3 slot GPU's are an extremely small niche inside an already small niche market. If you need 3 PCI slots, the case manufacturers might as well make a 4 slot micro-ATX case. There isn't a point in them wasting money on a 3 slot Mini-ITX case.

Most modern cases should still have the mounting holes for a mini-itx board though. I would get a decent Micro-ATX case and be set.

Yea I've searched the interwebs and haven't really seen any itx cases that have some dead space for a triple slot. I'll probably sell parts of my rig and make the switch. I'll probably go for a red Bitfenix Prodigy for portability, and upgrade mom's rig with my current FT03B.
 
Can't help you with anything specific, but I believe some people have managed to squeeze a flexATX motherboard into some Lian-Li ITX cases.

These cases should be able to hold your triple slot monster GPU, but you will probably have to mod some air holes in the bottom and the cases only have two expansion slot openings at the back.

EDIT:

Scratch that, I do not think the Lian-Li cases are deep enough for that card.

Check out the ThreeZero Project I am working on. I just sent off what is likely my final revision to manufacturing. If you are looking for a new portable machine, it's pretty mean. If you are unwilling to part with your 3 slot solution, my design easily adapts for ITX with 3 slot gpu. Let me know.
 
that is very impressive! I'm definitely looking forward to your next update and I''ll keep your project in mind before I make the switch.
