I used to do that before I got an iPad, was a great screen for when traveling or at work. Now I just use the pad.

My wife got me one for christmas this year with Black Ops. We already exchanged our gifts together. Anyways, Im just not digging this thing. Black Ops sucks majorly on it. I bought a 3 month psn plus sub for it and left it downloading Uncharted last night. Hopefully that game offers a better experience on the vita when I get a chance to play it tonight. She bought it from EB games so no return since its opened.

Are there any Skyrimish open world games that are worth buying for it? What about a Geometry Wars style game on it?

Probably gonna try to sell it and just take a loss I guess. I hate too since she tried hard to get me something cool!

Keep it man. Try Persona 4, Gravity Rush, also Rayman is a great game.

Also noteworthy: Stardust Delta, excellent space-shooter game.

stardust Delta does look nice! thanks. I havent had much time to research games yet. What is Persona 4? The screen shots look weird or just different. :)

Getting close to finishing person 4......I am probably going to pass it a second time so I can pick all the options I didn't have enough Courage to pick the first time through.

I Might use a guide to max out all the social links my second/third time around.....but I'm just too lazy.

I hope Persona 5 does college because.....Well I think the reasons for doing college instead of high school is obvious.

if i get hands on a vita, i will get persona 4

Hell yes.

Stardust Delta is hours of fun, it's just plain "let loose" gameplay. It looks amazing as well on the Vita screen.

Persona 4 is an RPG, where you get to roam around and do everyday tasks (school work, etc.) but at it's heart, it's also a very good roleplaying game by any standards. Give it a try, it's gotten stellar reviews from just about everyone.

I was initially planning on getting a Vita bc of all the sales going on with it. I think I'll wait though until new games arrive and my hype with gw2 has died out. But if you're a casual gamer w/o a smartphone or anything that would keep you entertained on the go, might as well get it. Graphics look great!

Love my Vita. Great on long flights. P4G is awesome... except for Chie's voiceover. Yeesh.

Uncharted was fantastic too.

...I'm not sure I can recommend it to anyone on a budget though. It's a pretty frivilous purchase with a small selection of noteworthy games, so far.

It's an amazing piece of gaming tech, that much is certain.

Agreed on Chie's new VA. Not only is it annoying it doesn't really fit her. Why didn't they use her original VA?

Various unconfirmed rumours... all of which do not make up for the fact that I want to end her every time she speaks. ha ha

my son just got one from my mother in law with blops and she also got him the ac3 game and I have to say that i didnt like blops too much but the ac3 is very good.

i have been enjoying it very much. oops... i mean my son.

got my dirty hands on a PS vita with AC3. Now i need persona 4 ASAP!

just downloaded uncharted with my PSN+ account , now i want a bigger mem card!

however there are a lot of titles that might redeem the vita and soon like metal gear solid HD; final fantasy X HD ; ps one titles ( coming this summer ); littlebigplanet; sound shapes

there are a few .. none of them are available

All this should have been available at launch. Same problem with the PSP. Great hardware at the time but they were SO SLOOOOOOOOW to launch anything. Vita is going the same way. Poor showing for such and amazing piece of hardware.

retro city rampage free for PSN+ subscriber!

perfect vita timekiller :D

I have to say browsing on the vita is great. Its blazing fast and very convenient. I also installed skype.

So far im very very happy with the vita. Ive been playing AC3: liberation , but i intend to start playing persona 4 any moment. Have the game looking at me right now :)

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I enjoyed Persona 3 much more than Persona 4. Gameplay is pretty much the same for me (bells and whistles in Persona 4 that I could do without) but I liked the story / characters in Persona 3 much better. Chie and Teddie annoy the hell out of me.

i did not like the ending in persona 3 great reward for saving all those people.

Why are you spoiling the end of a game without spoiler tags? Are you a fucking moron?

Soooo true. The biggest redeeming factor of 4 though was Nanako. She's so cute and personally I thought her character was miles passed everyone and everything else in the entire game.

Persona 3 was so much better in respect to story and characters. Only one I hated was Ken, that annoying little brat. I wish you could swap him out with the temp character, if you catch my meaning.

Did you see any details other than I did not like the ending. No OK then. Saving all those people is not a detail it is the plot line of every game not of the puzzle variety.

Any one going to get DOA 5+ I'm very disappointed to see the lack of lineup coming out in the next 3 months what do you think the chances are for a winning psn update.

Persona 4 is better for me. The Murder Mystery and Humor won me over. It is also easier to engage in. Persona 3 took a while before I was hooked and even then it just isn't the same as persona 4.

I find Teddy to be hilarious especially towards the end. The new "emo" girl however is very lame. I got her up to level 9 as of now and could care less about her.

I really hate Nanako but that is simply because I dislike kids. Chie is probably the worse character overall so boring and stupid.

Must. Play. This. Soon.

I hate seeing people talk about it and me not having time to play it.

Also..talk more about it please.

im trying to finish assassin creed first , game is OK I guess... somewhat buggy but i like the main character.

After that im doing uncharted and then persona 4.

Finally got to level 81 in persona 4. Killed 5 gold hands with only 2 Characters on board......BOAT LOAD OF EXP.......Now time to fuse Beelzebub and sex people with him.

Also I'm not a Player I'm a Polygamist. Chie, Yukiko, Rise, Ai, and Yumi all bedded rotten under my sheets.....Still working on Naoto and Kanji.

You sick son of a bitch.

I love you.

Something I don't see mentioned a lot about the Vita is about the cost of double dipping if you want to revisit the classics.

I still *like* my Vita but it dawned on me today that if I wanted to play some older games like FFVII or RE2 or Peace Walker that I have to repurchase them on the PSN store irregardless of whether or not I already own them. The games will be the same, no overhaul or extras yet the prices are between $10-$30 for games that could be had for much less in UMD or Disc format. I have yet to see a "PSN Sale" on par with steam sales that included Vita/PSP level games. Also you've got to take into account the crazy price of the memory cards.

Well you could argue the same with the Wii Market place. At least I've seen some pretty good sales on PSN. I got Persona 3 Portable for $10. Cheapest I've ever seen it.

My 7 yer old got one for Christmas and I've played with it a good bit since. Seems like the ps+ really makes owning it awesome but I not know if I would recommend for 200+. Seems to have good hw and if you can deal with the catalog you should definitely buy.

just finished uncharted... great game. really makes my vita worth it!

it pulled me from persona. Now im installing jet set radio and gravity rush!

Got myself the 1 year PS+ and picked up Persona 4. Did some updates and stuff to the Vita, and bought myself a new silicone gel cover (black), as well as put a new clear cover on the screen. Speaking of the covers, if anyone has some of the first gen covers, the ones that are basically just square adhesives where you take one side off, then fiddle with it to get it in the right spot, do yourself a favor and get the 2-pack package for $10'ish bucks at GameStop (or wherever). The new ones have a guide you can put onto the buttons and then there's a 3 step procedure. ZERO bubbles, and easiest thing I've ever done.

I'm pumped to get back to the Vita, haven't had a chance to play Persona yet though (busy all day yesterday outside of picking it up). After work today, it is ON.

Nice BiH!

I also got persona 4 , but i played uncharted first , and now im playing gravity rush and sound shapes!

What cover brand did you buy?

I want to say this one, going by the picture, but it was just a black gel/silicone case. Fits nice and still keeps the Vita looking spiffy. I had one of those clear madkatz plastic cases before, but that was pretty good too.

Edit: By cover I thought you meant the gel case...if you meant the screen protectors, these are the ones, I highly recommend them:

Gamestop sells these for around that price range. If you look at the images, you'll see what I mean by the guide with the button cutouts I mentioned earlier.

Did you just got PS+?

so many great games available for ''free''

Yeah I just got it yesterday. A buddy of mine gave me one of those codes you get from buying the $299 version that come with the +1 year.

So basically I didn't buy it, I got it for free ahah. Pretty psyched to try all the 'free' games and get all the cool PS+ features.
