Played the first one and loved it, just haven't gotten around to playing the second one yet.
 
The first was surprisingly good, a little repetitive, but good. The second changed quite a few things, but it is still a very enjoyable action game. Decent price.
 
Blah... I bought the Get Games deal earlier. I hope that Steam has all of the DLC for dirt cheap, then I won't feel so bad about it.

I have been caught up in their midweek madness sale of Crusader Kings II which I nabbed.

The trailer was very well done and I thought showed it in the right light.

The tutorial in the program is informative but still left me lacking. I then ran across a handful of excellent video tutorials and that really helped make sense of how to play it.

I just finished spending over $1000 bucks on Christmas stuff(including new monitor for daddy! woot!)and when the wife finds out she's gonna kill me!

Now i just spent another $13 bucks!

Both games are Steamworks. They require Steam. So yes you will get Steam codes.
 
Just picked up the bundle from Amazon and am dl'ing now with Steam. All DLC activated fine thru Steam too.
 
Fersh, was it a single code for everything or split codes?

I already have DS1 and I'd like to give it to my brother while getting 2 myself.

Amazon tends to separate the games within their game library area. All keys should be the same.

this. Just got in on this since I doubt I'm gonna see DS2 + DLC (not that I care about the DLC) for $7 on steam over Christmas and I can give away DS1 (which I already have).

The few hours I put into it before were with M+KB, but I got a 360 controller from my brother for xmas, you guys reckon these games should be played with a controller?

Most definitely. I tried with a keyboard/mouse and the experience just wasn't as good as with a 360 controller.

In for 1 Amazon bundle. Awesome deal.
 
I agree, a controller is definitely worth picking up. Just be sure you get one that's compatible with your OS
 
Yeah I have had a logitech dual action for a long time, but I don't like it that much.

My lil bro got me a wired x360 controller and I like it much better. I'll fire it up for DS :)

All probably in the same boat, I throw it on a side credit card and just tell my wife...making that credit card payment :)
 
Not sure if this is for everyone, but I got $5 credit toward an eligible game in 01/13. Probably nothing I'll want to spend money on, but still nifty in the event there is.
 
Picked it up for that Amazon deal. 2 games for 13 bucks sounds good. I'm cool with the playstyle and it gives a 5 dollar credit for January. So basically i can get plenty of cheap fun for about the cost of a single movie ticket.
