That folding table a temp desk? Can't be the best platform for those speakers.

That hook you're using for headphones, it's something women use to hang their purse wherever they are isn't it? ;) It counter balances or whatever, my mother has a few of them, oddly I never thought about using it for headphones but that's a clever idea.

I would love to hear the SA5000 at some point, I am told they're evocative of the HD800.

My friend asked if I had anything I wanted some pictures of since he was bored so I brought a few of my headphones over and these are some unedited shots he took.

My new Darth Beyer V3 Koa... I fucking LOVE these!

Just after I get it setup my center speaker stops working. Sigh. Oh well, it still sounds great in stereo.

looool. omg I can't take it. Those cinder blocks made me laugh irl. That whole setup looks like something out of a post-apocalyptic movie. ;)

Not bad.

Btw - I think your sneakers have reach critical mass.

They are magic actually. I run to work at 65 mph.

Oh and my mouse pad? Glazed tile from home depot. $3.54 after tax and it works amazing with lots of room for fps spins. Weighs about 5lbs.

I love the way you can store things in the cinderblocks :)

Where did you get this headband? I have been trying to find one for my SR-80 with no luck. The SR-325i is my next head phone, but I can not deal with the original headband. Nice collection by the way. The Denon is on my wish list as well.

Headphone Lounge is where I got it from. The Onyx Manta is pretty new and is their "flagship" headband, they have the Black Manta and Brown Manta standard. Once I got it and put it on I fell in love, it's amazingly comfy and plush compared to the stock 325 leather headband and compared to the plastic crap on the lower end ones it's a dream.

I may have to pick up one of their new Onyx Caiman headbands for my DT 880s and Darth Beyers now that I see they make it.

EDIT: Sneaking another shot in here because I found one in the lot that finally showed the Koa wood in about 80% of it's glory :D

Thanks so much for the link on those headbands!!!! I've been looking for a while for a headband for my Grado SR80's. Ordered me the Onyx Manta for now and the Brown Manta to put on after I get the wood cup conversion done on the Grado's.

I just picked this setup for $180 on the F/S section. It replaced a HD650/Little Dok MKIII that barely got any use at all.

Got these new speakers not too long ago. I have to sit on the other end of my super-tiny room to truly enjoy them, but it is *so* worth it.

Moving out to a bigger place next month without roommates - then they'll really shine!

Brah. What kind of speakers are those? They look kind of retro.

Company was Buggtussel, speakers were Amygdala. Small direct internet outfit, seems to be out of business now though. You can find a few reviews out there if you search for them. The sound is mesmerizing. Got them cheaply (a relative word, I guess).

Nice setups Face !

But why are those speakers lying on the floor? subwoofers? but why close the ports then.

M0B1L3 - what's in your watch collection? Closeup? :D

nothing really special. first three are kenneth cole mechanical watches I wear for my office job and the other two, simple g-shock and citizen eco-drive watch for my other job in where I work in a warehouse

That's a nice versatile rotation of watches. The tonneau-shaped kenneth cole is interesting.

I keep telling myself that I need a G-shock, but something stops me every time...

I'm using the Logitech Z-5500 Subwoofer and control unit with the satellites from the Logitech Z906.
I mounted them to a piece of oak which is mounted to my VESA monitor stand so I can tilt and rotate them 360 degrees.
