Looks pretty decent. I like the new housing pretty well. 1ms response time is pretty speedy too :)

Taiwanese company BenQ is just about ready to release a new gaming-friendly monitor, the 24-inch XL2411T which features a 120 Hz refresh rate, support for NVIDIA's 3D Vision 2 technology, and a 1ms GtG response time (TN panel).

Seen below, BenQ's display also has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 (12,000,000:1 DCR), D-Sub, DVI and HDMI connectivity, a 0.001-frame input lag, a stand allowing for height, tilt, pivot, stroke and swivel adjustment, plus a FPS Mode, and the Black eQualizer color engine technology (which improves visibility in dark scenes). Unfortunately BenQ has yet to say when the XL2411T will become available of how much it will cost.

Still no Display Port...

NCX Are you going to grab one of these for testing as soon as you can?

If it's the same panel as the XL2420t then 1ms is only possible with even more overdrive. I've seen what this looks like on the Iiyama 1ms g2773hs at its highest setting and it's not pretty.

The XL2420T has displayport

The housing does not look new and I hate when monitors are not rectangular, the housing looks the same as the XL2410T

XL2420T is much nicer IMO

Maybe the red accents? I wonder how much higher the price will be compared to the 10T. Hopefully the 10T will drop too

PCM2 from PC Monitors confirmed it is actually 144hz, but BenQ decided to market it as a 120hz display since 120hz awareness is much higher..

GOOD NEWS!

I've got confirmations. The great news is that XL2420TX and XL2411T are capable of being configured to ZERO MOTION BLUR (CRT STYLE) with the 2D (non-3D) LightBoost2 strobed backlight tweak. It's amazing that LCD's are now capable of zero motion blur today, perfect-looking CRT-quality zero motion blur. Some experiences:

Confirmed!! I've since purchased the Asus VG278H & a GTX680, and it works! Zero motion blur confirmed -- looks like CRT motion.

Then yesterday I, for some reason, disabled the 3d and noticed there was no ghosting to be spotted at all in titan quest. It's like playing on my old CRT.

I can confirm this works on BENQ XL2420TX
EDIT: And OMG i can play scout so much better now in TF2, this is borderline cheating.

One can just change the in game brightness/gamma and most displays feature game modes or gamma settings which do the same thing. On the XL2420T they just fudged up the gamma (the modes which support BE had poor colours and blacks too) to make the black equalizer appear to be doing something, if they had set the displays gamma properly to begin with no gimmicky BE feature would have been needed.

Interesting... if only they made a 1440p version, I would buy this without hesitation. CRT like response and motion almost have me tempted to go back to 1080p...almost.

There are no 1440p 120Hz monitors at this time (unless you want to do the overclock thing which apparently does not work very often).

I use PowerStrip to create custom colour profiles using different gamma ramps/settings. I can go far beyond the maximum black equalizer setting on Benq and still have relatively accurate colours.

Adjusting most of those things make the rest of the screen, or bright areas, unbearably bright. The point of the Benq mode is to adjust the dark areas while not radically altering the bright areas, something I haven't seen by those other means you mention.

It's just an illusion on the BenQ. They crank the gamma then the BE lowers it, thus revealing the details...which would have been visible if the gamma had been set properly to begin with.

Both Samsung 120hz displays and my Asus VG236H I reviewed either game modes or a gamma setting with 1.9 gamma for dark shades to reveal all the dark details and give noobs an advantage at the cost of colour saturation. Most low end gaming oriented displays have these features.

where can i get this in the US? anyone ordered a set from overclockers uk? how long did shipping take?
