SteelSeries.com 30%-50% everything

I still haven't received any notification of my order shipping. I also noticed that SteelSeries ApS is located in Denmark.

Nothing here either. But oh well, it was an impulse purchase anyway and I don't need it..

with a name like steelseries i thought they made cases ala caselabs but still nice stuff

I ordered on Sunday too and also haven't received any shipping information. This is getting kind of ridiculous.

Man that does sound a little much. I don't think Ill buy from their site again. Ill stick to getting their stuff off Newegg.

yeah newegg will have that order processed almost immediately during business hours. I think its funny that newegg even offers an additional rush processing as how could that make it any faster. if it ships UPS from Memphis then it gets to my house the next day. if its that eggsaver shit then it gets shipped all over the eastern us and takes 6-7 days to get here though.

FedEx blows. Either they don't update their site or my stuff has been sitting in Carson(CA) since yesterday morning.........

Just got my MLG Sensei in today. The sensor tracks very well when it works however there seems to be negative acceleration at both low and high dpi, pixel skipping is a huge issue too. I did update the firmware right out of the box from Steelseries website and installed driver/software from there too and made sure exact aim, exact accel and freemove all at their lowest to ensure no software interference.. Overrall, i'm content with my g9x still, I feel it has much better tracking. However, the new avago does have potential I believe. When things are going right with the sensei, it's like OH WOW.

Hi Me

We are terribly sorry about the delay caused by unexpected high volumes of orders this Thanksgiving weekend.

All orders are being/have been processed at our warehouse, and you will receive a tracking number as soon as possible.

We are doing the very best with the resources available and appreciate your patience and business.

Best regards,

Steelseries Weborder Support

Well they definitely weren't prepared for the volume. I just got my new Das keyboard today and was hoping I would have my mouse by now. I probably won't get the mouse for another week. Whack.

That's what I figured. Can't hate on them for it really as long as it doesn't get too ridiculous with the wait times. Like I said, I'll still buy their gear but Ill stick to getting it thru the Egg.

Getting a really good deal on some nice stuff. Not really too concerned about waiting at the moment. If it doesnt ship by middle of next week i will be upset.

just got my tracking number sent 15 minutes ago which is 1 AM here. never got tracking number at this hour before...

Tracking for both of my orders showed up finally at about 3am EST. Delivery estimate of Dec. 4th.

no tracking for me either , ordered on sunday mid-day

Same.

BETA, I seem to remember reading that the Sensei performs much better on a hard plastic surface than cloth. I've used many laser mice with Avago sensors on cloth pads and for the most part they performed well, but could it be possible that you're using the Sensei on a surface that your G9x just happens to like more? I think I read that some surfaces can make the acceleration more pronounced, and I've experienced the pixel skipping myself on a pad or two.

Surprisingly, I tried the mouse on a qck mini and i experienced less pixel skipping than on the ratpadz, and puretrak classic. On all of them there is noticeable amounts of acceleration. The mouse is nice when it works well, just wish it were a bit smoother.

Hmm. Well I'm using a giant Monoprice black cloth pad right now and it's working extremely well with my Xai. I'll try the Senseis on it when they arrive but I also ordered a 9HD just in case.

I think my next mouse is going to have the optical Avago ADNS-3090 sensor in it. From what I've read it's almost a perfect sensor, and I don't need the crazy DPI of the Sensei MLG anyway (I wanted to see what the "tournament grade" switches were all about). I very well may end up selling it and keeping the regular Sensei or the RAW because to be honest it's just overkill for me...I bought it more out of curiosity than anything. :)

Now if only SS will ship my stuff...

Ordered a 6Gv2 Red Switch on Sunday night (11/25) and still haven't received any tracking number yet... I could have ordered from Amazon and gotten Prime shipping and had it Tuesday. I won't complain, yet - good price and kind of a gift to myself so I'm not in any rush. But, if it doesn't ship by next week then I will have issues.

I must have ordered way early, got mine today. I am using 1 of the 4HD mouse pads I ordered right now

Ordered my stuff the day after you posted rekd, and have not seen either a tracking notification or a the 6Gv2 KB & Pad that I ordered. Would like to at least have some idea of what's happening...

Ordered Sunday afternoon... received my tracking number a little bit ago.

Same, mine's showing an ETA of Dec. 6th. Almost 2 weeks from the time of order. I guess I can't complain too much since shipping was free, but now I know what to expect if you order during a big sale and "Best Way" is the only shipping option.

Update:

Order Sunday night and received my tracking number last night at 10:40pm EST. Estimated delivery date is December 6th. Essentially a 2-week turnaround if everything is on schedule. Also, for people asking it's coming from Carson, CA and I'm on the East coast in NC.

Mine has been sitting in bloomington for over 3 days. Fuck FedEx.

Got mine today on the day they said Id get it. Not sure yet what my verdict is on the thing though (Sensei Raw). Right off the bat I think I like my Deathadder a little better in terms of comfort and this hard mouse pad is going to take some getting used to but Ill give it a while. I usually have to grow into things like this.

Mine arrived in Charlotte, NC early this afternoon and instead of Dec. 6th delivery it says it will be here tomorrow. They overshot their estimate (not complaining). Looks like mine left Bloomington early Saturday morning and flew across to land here earlier this afternoon - roughly 2-day shipping. I'm fine with that. Is yours still in Bloomington?

Same for mine! Sweet! Particularly since I took today and tomorrow off from work.

Nah, it arrived yesterday as scheduled, they just didn't update the departure only arrival at my local FedEx facility. I was just pissed because I thought they were just gonna let it sit around and waste time :D.

Just got my headphones this morning, Listening to some music as im typing this.

I can honestly say these V2's are really amazing. Ive never owned such a comfortable pair of headphones. Initial sound is amazing. cant wait to game for a few hours with em. that will have to wait till Thursday night tho :(

got my mouse and pad today and I think all I did was waste my money for the most part. the pad is a little rougher than I thought it would be but I guess I am used to cheap soft cloth pads. the mouse itself feels okay but I keep hitting the button on the right side with my pinky. the scroll wheel has lots of resistance and is a bit loud but I guess I will get used to that. apparently you cant turn turn off the annoying light that fades in and out though without installing the software which I have no other need for. :(

EDIT: it is going back as I cant avoid continuously hitting that damn side button with my pinky.

Do they fit over or on top of your ears?
Im guessing they are closed due to the noise cancelling feature?

I kinda like to hear things around me like a doorbell or my phone ringing.
