Have always been an AMD fanboy, but that has been harder and harder to still admit while Intel is wiping the floor with AMD in the enthusiast cpu market. Their ATI lineup is why i think they still have a few tricks up their sleeves, like their new Fusion products, what a great value!
Ati has always been neck-and-neck with nVidia, looking to see what the future holds for my favorite cpu manufacturer!
Superior HTPC video cards! Amazing quality for audio and video, and the high performance ones game, too! I also like that zero core tech they brought in. ~no power at idle is very nice.
I am in need of an upgrade from my aging (beautifully) HD5850. That would be a great hand-me-down for my wife to replace her aging (poorly) 8800GTX. I would definitely put the new bundle to good use!
I've always been impressed by AMD's focus on 'bang for your buck'- being able to purchase cutting-edge GPUs and CPUs while not breaking the bank, and still delivering excellent performance. My very first 'gaming' CPU purchase was an Athlon XP, which I overclocked, and it performed like a champ over the course of several years and more than a couple motherboards
Also, the AMD team's passion for their industry is apparent, and you actually feel like they care about what they're doing, rather than just treating customers as a means to their bottom line. Cheers!
Great hardware and an excellent bundle. I think the radeon 7000 series is a winner.
My wife desperately needs a gpu upgrade and after recent events in NJ we can't afford one for her. This would be an awesome xmas gift and finally show that our luck is turning around.
Without AMD, Intel and Nvidia would have no reason to produce quality products. AMD has always been my "go to" in past builds, and I look forward to the opportunity to fill up my next build with AMD at the helm.
