Oh shit.
http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/20/steams-autumn-sale-starts-tomorrow-winter-sale-dated-too/
Steam's Autumn sale is dated for November 21-27, while the oft-bargainous holiday sale snowballs across December 20 to January 4. The dates were revealed by Tamás Bakó, CEO of Artery Studios, who says Valve contacted him about putting Secrets of the Magic Crystals in the upcoming Steam sales. We've also had the dates confirmed to us by an indie developer, who received them in an email direct from Valve.

Last year Steam's Autumn sale spanned November 23-27, while the wintertime sale also kicked off on December 20 before retiring at the turn of 2012.

Is everyone ready? My wallet sure isn't. :D

Thanks for the heads up, man.

Hopefully L4D2 goes back for $4.99. For some reason my purchase never registered and I did not realize this until the sale was over :(

GRRRR.... it ends 3 days before I get paid :p Shame on you Steam :D Oh well, will treat myself in winter :)

Shit. More games to be added to my backlog. Although I am getting through some of them.

I still have some games from Steam sales like two years ago that I haven't gotten to yet.

But I know ill get more anyway!

Oh shit. *burns wallet and credit cards*

...all my credit cards are on steam already... Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I went 6 years with only 3 games and then on this past summer sale I went full "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY" and expanded my library to +170 games.
Im gonna go CRAZY

That's what I did 3 years ago. With each successive year though, I find less and less to purchase. Mostly because I already have most of the highly rated titles for cheap already.

Damn it, why do they gotta make these holiday sales extra long? Might as well make it 365 days a year for everyday wallet rape.

Steam is gonna take more of my money for games that I wont end up playing. I still havent touched the new Batman and Skyrim from the last sale (and Trine2). ><

+100000000000

Must stop buying games I will never play. Although I might bite if there's a decent deal on XCOM.

I don't know why I'm doing this either, but I'm sure I'll end up buying something

Thats what it's like for me too. Ill but about 100 games and play 3...:D

Though recently there isn't really anything in the sales (as i've bought almost everything I wanted anyway...)

This. The first year or two I participated in Steam sales, I bought damn near anything that was cheap enough. The last few.....I haven't bought much. I used to buy multiples in a day; I think this past summer's sales, I only bought a few days and it was a game here and there.

My library's around the 230 mark and my 'recently played list' is somewhere around 30.
I think I've finished a dozen or so games? A lot of the games in my library are more for archive's sake/nostalgia (like the whole Doom pack and the GTA pack); games I've played that I used to own and wanted to own again after losing the original floppies. ;)

Hell I just recently finished Crysis and CoD: MW2 (but that's mainly because I don't buy much that comes out the day of release and Activision has price gouged on previous CoD's for years now).

I'm ready for it but i think my backlog is ridiculous right now..I'll probably end up getting dlc crap instead for the games i have already

Didn't know Star Wars KOTOR 2 was on Steam. Would get it to complete my KOTOR 1:p

i'd bite if I can get both for $10 :D

Today sales kinda suck, but I saw Gods and Kings for sale on amazon for $7.50 mac version, though it should register on steam for the PC version.

How does today's sales suck? If anything, everybody and their mom and their nongamer friends too should buy a copy of The Walking Dead.
