That makes so much more sense now that I've read the first Halo book. Actually is a decent "400 pages in 1 minute" synopsis.
As much as people hate the Halo series and that the story is rather derivative, as a sci-fi nut I'm looking forward to the game. It's a rather interesting story, not the greatest, but interesting nonetheless. It's kept me interested in this game for quite a while now and I'd like to see where it goes after Halo 3.
I really enjoy playing through the single player and reading the books. I know the multi-player is generally well regarded but I'm not terribly interested in it.
And yet another game that can't be played on PC.
FU MS!

This was my thoughts exactly, while I feel the Halo series is great. Lack of keyboard and mouse support for a FPS just kept me from going back. Why on Earth, Microsoft of all companies, never made a keyboard and mouse for the 360 is beyond me. Those gadgets to use K&M never did it for me too much lag in the response.
So I wish they would finally go ahead and start making Halo for PC again... Doubt it will happen though, just like there is no Killer Instinct for 360 which doesn't make any sense.

Every console has it's exclusive game. Can't play newest Mario on PC or uncharted. And if you could it wouldn't play on what's in your Sig anyway!

Actually, it might play on that. Especially at console resolutions (Halo 4 will supposedly be done at 1280x720 then unconverted).
I've been running console games at higher than console resolutions on much weaker hardware for a while now. Remember that these are Xbox 360 games, and while heavily optimized at this point, they're running on pretty old hardware form a PC perspective.
I am a bit disappointed that more Halo isn't on the PC. The first Halo looked really good in the PC version and was pretty fun to boot (though the pistol was a bit overpowered with mouse aiming). They have Halo 2 PC but it's really about time for Halo 3 PC (and ODST too). I can understand them wanting to wait until after Halo 4 has been out to release Reach though.
