Coupon Code: GMG25-EVFWS-4Z4ZN

I just picked up the following:
Sim City Deluxe Edition (preorder): $37.50
Metro: Last Light (preorder): $45
Crysis 3: Hunter Edition (preorder): $45
Borderlands 2 Season Pass: $22.50

I'm debating whether or not to snag Doom 3 BFG Edition (preorder): $22.50.

Sort of tempted to get Dark Souls, but since the coupon is good for so long I'll wait and see if it goes on sale for the turkey day Steam sale first.

12/10/12 means October 12th 2012. GMG is a UK site, they do not use the North American calendar format.

Oh yeah, assumed OP would have written it in NA format but that's alright.. Nope, still waiting for Steam with fingers crossed!

green man gaming is prob the only 3rd party site that is legit and not selling russian keys.

Hate when they do that. While numerically it makes sense to list a date in increasing order, it's easier to relate to information by relative priority. A month is more important than "day of the month" and day is more important than year.

The world does not revolve around our date format.

I can't buy shit from green man because every single card including paypal is giving this error message:
"Your Payment Provider has not authorised your purchase. This may be because some banks (incorrectly) believe that Green Man Gaming is a gambling website. Please contact your bank to discuss your order. We are working with these banks to resolve this issue. "

I can understand one or two credit cards... but paypal too. Damn! I guess I won't get a deal. Capitalone by the way never had a verification system show up at all.

My card got rejected a few weeks ago from GMG because it was processed as if I was in the UK and got rejected since I also had recent purchases locally. It triggered the fraud alert.

Thanks. Our work firewall blocks most game websites, so I couldn't check.

Picked up Borderlands 2 season pass thanks for the code. But wow GMG should upgrade that 56k to like a T1 or better. Was stuck on "Hang On we are processing your order" for like 5 minutes. I said screw it, clicked the main page button. Went to my keys and it was there but wow the site is terrible. Used IE because Firefox always goes crazy when the authorize payment comes up. This time it just got stuck.

Still need to get the new Simcity game with the code(if it works) but will worry about that tomorrow lol.

A T1 won't help a faster database would.... or perhaps a faster disk i/o sub-system.

I had the same problem for a couple weeks. Had to go through GMG support to fix it, after I confirmed with my bank they weren't blocking anything.

I know. Was just making fun of their slow website lol. The processing screen never went away after like 5 minutes. I ended up taking the chance of just going into my keys to see if it was there.

Getting a 20-25% discount on a game and then whining about the speed of the website.

First world problems.

GMG won't let me check out. Says it might have been blocked due to my bank thinking it's a gambling site, but I tried paypal and my credit card and neither one worked. Lately none of these pc game deals work for me.

The processing screen did not go away. I took the chance of either getting charged twice, or not receiving my product while still getting charged. I would say that is a problem for a paying customer. Lucky we have charge backs and phone support for these rare cases stuff happens.

Also the response of the server would be the same even if I payed full price.

If you have a Paypal issued debit card, try that. For some reason when I try paying with Paypal straight away with a username and password, transaction doesn't work, but if I use the Paypal debit card (which pulls from the same account) then no problemo - no figure..

These minor annoyances are still worth it to get 20-20% knocked off a Steam game. I dont see better deals anywhere else excepting maybe Origin desperation sales but then those don't matter since I won't give them a dime.

Well yeah this thread was started last week, these codes dont tend to hang around forever.

You can still use the 20% code thats on their homepage.

When i use the 20% Still on their main page, it says the code is expired as soon as I log in. (it eventually makes me log in :( )

And how in the heck do you clear your shopping cart? I just want to clear my basket and try to re add it but it won't let me? If I log out it clears my basket but as soon as I log in again the damn expired code that won't work comes back in my cart? Ugh I just want to sent them money I don't see why it should be this hard. First Amazon, now GMG.

Gah - my bank just called me and confirmed that they block all GMG transactions so it was a problem on my end. No Postal 3 for me.

tell them to unblock it?

Some banks block "green man gaming" because they assume it's a gambling site, so tell them it's not and have them unblock it.
