Will FiiO E11 improve car sound with Zune?

My desktop has the E9 amp, Asus Xonar, and pair of HD 555's and the sound is great. I use my Zune a lot in the car (but also portable when working out, etc) and I'm wondering if running it into an E11 portable amp will make a difference. Reviews say it works well with cell phones and mp3 players but I haven't read anything about using it in a car.

my guess is it would be redundant, as the head unit in your car should already provide amplification of the source.

Yeah it's not gonna do anything since the signal will then go into the head unit's aux and own amp, replacing the head unit and/or adding a discrete amp would be the way to proceed.

I don't know how good the DAC in the Zune is, so it may be worth looking into a DAC, but then again maybe not. I'm an iPod owner, and I found that I got significantly clearer sound some my iPod when going through its dock connector for audio as opposed to piping it from the headphone jack to my car's radio. It doesn't answer your question, but it could be something to look into if you're chasing better sound quality.
