Found this on another site, you can pre-order Borderlands 2 Season Pass for $22.50, sells for $30 normally or $10 each. This gives you all 4 pieces of dlc planned for Borderlands 2. Comes out to $5.62 a piece.

Use code GMG25-1BW0K-K1A3G

Can't get enough Borderlands 2? Grab the Borderlands 2 Season Pass!

Includes $39.96 of add-on content and will be available for SRP $29.99

Includes four brand new individual add-on content campaigns for Borderlands 2

Each campaign will feature several hours of gameplay and introduce new adventures, allies, enemies and environments.

The Borderlands 2 Season Pass will be available for purchase when Borderlands 2 is available on on September 18, 2012.

All four add-on content campaigns are scheduled to be available by June 2013.

Done and done! Puts my total investment in BL2 at $59. Can't argue for a game I will surely get hundreds of hours out of.

Nice! And the $2 credit I have from ordering BL2 knocks it down to $20.50.

Why did they have to use the word "Gaming" in their company name? Makes all the banks and credit card companies think it's a gambling site, making it so friggin' hard to get a payment through. Was able to order BL2 through PayPal with instant transfer, but now I can't get it to work.

Woo! All set for BL2 for $58.50. :D

In case anyone's still on the fence about preordering from GMG, you can purchase BL2 and the season pass separately and use the discount code both times.

I've tried to purchase using GMG like 20 times with my credit card.... called my visa company and they said the request never went through to them for it to be declined by them, they blamed the merchant (GMG)

anyone else have had this problem?

So how do they deliver it out of curiosity? Is it a Steam code? I didn't get my copy through GMG (came free from NVIDIA) so I just want to make sure it'll all work together.

Borderlans 2 is a Steamworks title. All PC versions and all codes for it go through Steam. GMG will give you a Steam code.

paypal

Tried PayPal using instant transfer from my bank as well as two different credit cards and I keep getting denied.

Call your bank and talk to them. GMG gets flagged a lot due to their name and being based out of the US.

GMG is a pain in the balls. Site is usually wicked slow and getting payments to go through is pure luck.

Ugh, I hate guessing at these things. Do you think this will include the Creature Slaughter Dome pre-order bonus from GameStop? They said it will be available at a later date, and I assume it would come with a "season pass."

"Includes access to four brand new individual add-on content campaigns for Borderlands 2 as they become available." I'd say, no.

Anyone know why GMG would fail with Paypal? The email addresses definitely match; the error message keeps telling me that my payment provider failed but I got through the Paypal screens just fine. I like GMG's prices but their payment processing and support thereof is complete bunk.

Using Mastercard, I tried 4 times from the work computer and got "order not complete". Then tried it again using my phone and it went through. Now to deal with my bank's fraud detection. Why can't this company get their shit together?

By doing what? Changing their name and setting up shop in the US?

Just used Paypal, worked fine for me. Never have had a billing problem with GMG, actually.

My bank (BoA) does not even see a pending transaction with the "Order not complete." message. I suspect the problem is on their end. Once it does go through, I get a robo call from Delaware from fraud detection, asking to confirm the last 3 transactions. Then I get an email from fraud detection, saying the country is UK but merchant is not recognized.

If GMG wants to make money, I would think they could sort this shit out. It is the only merchant I've had problems with outside the country, and I order stuff direct from Japan and China frequently.

I don't want to use PayPal. Worked on my phone, but not from my work computer. I don't know.

Well there's you're problem you're using Bank of America.

I use it for checking since there are a billion ATM's around here. My savings is in a real bank.

Edit: Thanks OP.

Good deal, but something still feels wrong about pre-ordering DLC for a game that hasn't even been released yet.

I'd say the majority of Borderlands DLC was worthwhile, so I don't have a real problem paying a discount for the future DLC...especially at around half price.

For some games I really don't have a problem with it. If B2 is as good or better than the first game I can guarantee I will buy every DLC they put out just like I did the first game so the season pass would save me money. The season pass for SR3 was disappointing due to the DLC being kind of meh, but it was free with the pre-order so can't complain too much. Gearbox did a good job with the DLC for the first game (Mad Moxxie aside).

atleast with this dlc it's not done instead of being complete already and sold

Thanks OP. Bought everything for a game before release, that's a first for me. I pre-ordered BF3, but only got the first DLC with it for free.

Code still works, though you can't add Borderland 2 and Season Pass to the basket and use the code... the codes are the same. So what I did was to individually order and purchase each item, and used the same code for each. It works.

It's not something I'd normally do, but I don't think I'm taking much of a gamble here. Out of all the Borderlands DLC, the only one I didn't really care for was The Underdome. Arena DLC is just stupid. So, assuming Gearbox delivers DLC with a similar amount of content, it should be worth it... and it gives me an excuse to replay the game every few months :D

so when will the goty edition come out with all the dlc and stuff included for a great price

After everyone is done playing it and you're sick of hearing about how much fun we're having. :p

Probably this time next year since it sounds like the last DLC release for the season pass will be in June.
