Complain about DICE, get your Premium access revoked

Based on the updates in the thread, the DICE dev he suspected said he had nothing to do with it, and is looking into it. EA said they would get it fixed. I don't think we're getting the full story here. I also think blaming DICE is a big assumption based solely on what some scatter brained EA chat monkey had to say.

This is why I don't post anything at all on EA Forums. Why would you want to post anything in a place that has the power to mess with your games ? It's the same reason I don't post on the Steam forums.

I've never heard of Steam forum bans affecting your account. They should be two separate things. I was banned from the Steam forums many, many years ago for a bit of drunk banter... didn't affect my Steam account one bit.

You're right, but still some what worrying that some asshat has the arbitrary power to fuck with software you have paid for. In any event this is the reason why I only ever post on official forums with ghost accounts.

This really shows how screwed up DICE is. I mean in the end, it's just a game, but the money spent on it is REAL bucks.

Too bad you can't do that with Battlelog... home of many future DICE games.

i highly doubt that he had his premium status revoked because of that, there is probably more to the story here

I'm such a gaming noob/benching fiend I thought this was about dry ice and was thinking huh?

I don't, this wouldn't be the first time EA has acted unreasonably by depriving users of content they paid for over stupidly trivial matters.
