Hey guys. The parts that I'm using are...

SG05 450W
Asrock Z77 EITX
3570k
H60
670 FTW
2x 4GB Samsung Green
128GB 830 Samsung SSD

I put everything together and there ended up being no video output or audio feedback (but fans/lights all turned on) when I first started.

Here's my attempt to troubleshoot so far:
I removed everything but the CPU and ended up hearing long beeps.
After putting in RAM, no beeps/output

I'm kind of stuck at the moment; I don't really have another system or spare parts to test with. What's the next step for me?

Thanks

Hook everything up except the GPU. Connect the monitor to the HDMI or DVI port on the motherboard. See if you get a signal then.

Nope, no video output from the HDMI output on the motherboard.

The only things connected are the RAM and CPU. Do I need to hook up the SSD as well?

No you do not.

You have just the RAM and CPU installed, then try to boot the computer and you receive no video output on the onboard GPU? You tried both the HDMI and DVI ports on the motherboard?

Are you sure all the power connections are plugged into the motherboard?
No beeps?
Try using one stick of RAM at a time. Make sure RAM is in slot 1. Then try slot 2, so on and so forth.

No beeps at all. No video output.

Same results with 1 stick of RAM (in slot 1) and 2 sticks of RAM

How many power connections do you have plugged into the motherboard?

Reset the CMOS (jumper the CMOS jumper for > 10 seconds with the power unplugged to the power supply). Try clearing out the residual power in the capacitors by clicking the power button with the power cord unplugged from the wall.

Also, try using an old CRT monitor with a standard VGA cable first.
edit: just saw that this mobo has no VGA connector.
