What's your choice of gaming goodness this weekend?

Basically. In my field (programming - Military division), we get a good amount of days off, nice benefits, but my favorite one would have to be that you can work from home whenever necessary/convenient. I just don't think I could handle more than 40-50 hours of programming a week. I'd die. Though I suppose I could do 50+ hours of something else that didn't require a monitor.

thankfully my job only requires shell scripting and programming for a part of my time. but still like you said sitting in front of a monitor is hard to do for 40 hours

Only positive thing is the cash flow, it's very generous. But it takes its toll heh.

Christ. Can't be fun, 90 hours? :-\

Typical week is around 45-50 hrs. I work as Tech Support for a EMR Vendor basically. We're allowed to program and use code to troubleshoot issues for our customers (Hospitals).

When a hospital goes live, we go on site to support them for a week or two along with our implementation staff. This particular one was more involved than usual. We had to do a lot of workstation troubleshooting the first few days since their contractors did not set it up right or at all.

Hey, that sounds pretty active/involving. As long as it's not just sitting around, I can't imagine it being unbearable.

what kind of code?

The Secret World, and I may start on Max Payne 3 finally...

max payne 3 was pretty dope. although i had graphical issues with my gtx 570 it was still awesome and it reminded me a lot of the originals. pretty amazing

NBA 2k12 just made the playoffs, taking the Miami Heat back to the finals :p
Catch up with BF3, bought the last expansion the day it came out but haven't played it at all

Ditto to playing Borderlands 1. I took the day off to take care of a few things and now that I'm home it's going to be a Bandit, Craw and Knoxx slaughterfest. :D

Borderlands 1.

I need to introduce my little bro to it before BL2 comes out.

Assassin's Creed 2, getting myself prepared for Assassin's Creed 3. Just call me Ratonhake:ton

Guild wars 2 in about 10 hours time :) But I might throw in some CS:GO and Diablo 2 LOD if I need a change.

And yes, it's hard to believe, but I have Diablo 2 for 12 years and I purchased LOD when it came out, but I only killed Diablo for the first time today. I never got passed act 1 before because I always got distracted by something else :)

I'm going to continue Driver San Francisco and HAWX 2, both picked up from the ubisoft sale last weekend.

I really am trying to wait to see how GW2 goes...but all the talk is really making me want to get it now...

Finishing Max Payne 2(yes, that's a 2), starting Psychonauts, and raiding on EQ.

Replaying Hlellgate: London. It's really too bad Flagship Studios bit it, cause aside from some glitches, the game was a lot of fun. Some of the best armor and weapon graphics ever (when the textures were working correctly anyway)...

Most likely a friend and I are going to run through the last third of coop Saints Row The Third. I might play some L4D2 as well.

Been playing a lot of Darksiders 2. Honestly, it's a really good game, although they really could use some alternative ideas beyond 2 minutes of overworld, an hour of a giant dungeon, repeat.
I've dabbled a little in Dark Souls, but haven't spent too much time with it. After playing the so-so looking Darksiders 2, it's still damn ugly, even with the 1080p fix.

SW: KotOR 2 + TSLRCM v1.8
now if i could get it working with widescreen res @ 2560x1600, i'll be super happy.

I might start Mass Effect 3 later tonight. (still downloading, got it for 16$ with Origin sale thing in HotDeals)

I bought AC: Revelations last night at Wal Mart for $30, but I decided to go ahead, beat AC2 and Brotherhood before playing AC:R and beating that, then I'll be ready for AC3.

Shouldn't take very long, all the games are fairly short, I'm guesstimating about 60 hours.

Guild Wars 2 for me, haven't played an mmo in a couple years. My fps was all over the place, 14-60 fps depending on how zergy the action was. It finally got me to upgrade my system, ordered a new cpu, mobo, 8g of ram.

Laying in bed in Afghanistan trying to decide if I want to start Trine 2, LA Noire, or go back to Arkham City. Damn you choices! :D

Not much for me I'm afraid. Maybe some ME3 multiplayer and that's about it.

Is there still a community for that? I had a good bit of fun playing the multiplayer.

As for me, I will be doing Dota 2 and Dark Souls mostly. Maybe a little Sniper Elite thrown in for good measure.

Back-door Sluts 9: The Game

yeah. it rocks.

Guild Wars 2, everything else just became obsolete.

This right here...with the exception of crpg mod for warband when I feel the need to shoot people in the face with a xbow.

Did some Diablo 3 yesterday, and then its just Guild Wars 2 since its server went up.

Also completed STALKER Clear Sky just to reduce my Steam backlog, lol. But now the rest will have to wait.

If I have time I will be continuing Dead Island. I work the weekends and have Wednesday and Thursday off so I don't always have a chance to game on the weekends.
