Undervolting HD7750 (is it possible?)

Hello I own a tiny HTPC case running an i3 sandy bridge which is being fed from a measly 90w external AC adapter. I do not complain, the system is quite good for what it does but I thought of putting some basic gaming to the mix.

I found the HD7750 to be the one with the best power-consumption (per performance) in the mid/low end cards but with a TDP at 55w I'm fearing whether my AC adapter would struggle; so undervolting the card (if I was to buy it) sounds like a good idea.

My question -basically- is whether it is if that's possible at all via software means. I know in previous generation it was as I have done so (either through bios flash, or oc utilities) but I'm not sure about the 7xxx series. I do know things are a bit more restricted for one...

So yeah any advice would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks ;)

I do believe it is, but that wouldn't happen until your in OS. You'd have to flash the bios to make it a permanant thing. What I'd do is software adjust it on your main rig, then flash it to those lower numbers, then place it in your HTPC. Then it would always be at the lower voltage, even at startup.

Have you tried MSI afterburner? I believe there is an option in the that unclock voltage changes. But I also know that it's not guaranteed to work on all cards.

Sorry if I have not made it clear but I haven't bought the card yet, I'm *planning to* in the condition that it does/can undervolt (because if it doesn't it will be dead weight for my system). The answers seem hopeful 'till now. If someone who owns the card could fill us in (I think) it would be even better :)
