All I have to say is thats a great deal, except the guns laws in DC would probably prohibit him from keeping it.

FYI: all legal firearms purchases require the firearm be sent to an FFL, who can then transfer the weapon in the same way a gun store would. You can't just get a gun mailed to your house.

Actually, if you have a Curio and Relic license, you CAN order certain firearms like Mosins, Mausers and certain types of SKSsover the internet and have them sent to your door . You just have to send an application and $30 to the ATF. They run a background check and if you pass then you are set.

Well, yeah. As soon as you have that license, you're as much on the radar of the ATF as an FFL holder.

At that point you HAVE an FFL it's an FFL 03.

I had one for years and it's dangerous. Back in the day the $75.00 to your door M44, SKS and Swiss K31s filled up my safe QUICK!

You also develop a strange relationship to the smell of cosmoline. The smell actually starts to fill you with excitement.

For the next two years, the TV is worth more than the gun, he got robbed with a gun. :) Had it been a .50 cal, on the other hand, I'd definitely want to keep the gun.
 
Wow so many people here that would have been happy to get the gun (and not for resale). I bet there is at least 1 fcked up dude here capable of the horrors u guys are having ooo so often over there in america :))) come on,show yourself :)) am i the only one who would have prefered the TV?

Nah I think I would have preferred a large machete so I could ride around on a camel lopping heads off like the middle east oh wait.... I think that would have been much better than a random shipping accident that sent me a firearm with no ammunition or intent.
