Computer Error of the Day

The fact someone is buying three individual packs (why no bundle) of gum is suspicious (weirdo anyone?).
Better watch this guy/lady. Somethings up!

Must be a new First World Problem. Chewing gum tax.

that seems like a really low price for lunchables anyway...I think they were more than a buck when they first came out when I was in elementary school...and that was almost 25 years ago!

There might be 6 GUMs, 3 out of view.
It may have been photo edited.
Couple of other possibilities.

You're all tards!!!!!!

This is a normal "convenience fee" charge.... Taking a cue from Ticketmaster....

It's a well known computer law: Garbage In, Garbage Out. In other terms: Junk Food In, Junk Bill Out.

Looks like the top 1$ price is photo shopped to me. The artifacting when blown up looks odd.

Something else is up. Walmart doesn't sell things for 0.50 or 1.00. Try $0.98

I know!

Unless this was taken in Australia or some other sane country where sales tax is included in the listed price and they don't use pennies because they're worthless. Canadia maybe? Are there Walmarts there?

Welcome to Wally World, if you don't like how we add-up your order or something is wrong please see the customer service desk and wait 30+ minutes before you are help for a $1.50 mistake. If you have a problem with our service you are welcome to shop elsewhere and pay higher prices there, we will see you again tomorrow. Thank you, Wal-mart.

;)

I like how my post is to short because I used the quote tags.

I find it funny that when there's an error in price, it usually favors the company and not the customer. When was the last time that a machine made an error in your favor? Machine, and not human related error what so ever. Cause I can see someone forgetting to ring something up and what not.

slight derail of topic but I remember reading a story once about a gas station that got a decimal point error for their gas. It's rare but errors pro human do occur. Then the management fires the person who lost the company thousands of dollars.

What do you mean an error in the customer's favor? There is no such thing, only more realistic pricing.

Everything is WAY over priced, I should be able to buy a new car for $50, buy all the food i could need for a month for $5, gas should be 1 cent per gallon. Movies, games and music should be free. :D

[/sarcasm]

I would definitely notice the difference. I have this little habit of adding up the total value of my groceries ( including tax ) as I'm grabbing the items. Running tally. Does no one else do this?

I do because i usually have a certain goail in mind for total price, normally around $150.

Reddit is not a reputable source. 9 chances out of 10 this was photo-shopped for karma.
