Microsoft Code Contains The Phrase 'Big Boobs'

Jeez what a dork. Sensitive much? Its called a fleshlight dude. Get a few of them for variety.

Who's to say this is sexist? The guy was probably referring to the perceived intelligence of management.

Breaking news! Windows is bloated because of lewd comments packed in the code!

lol jk :D

There are (well, "were") people named Boob you know? And I mean first name. So, yeah... damned political correctiveness.

I know several people named "Tits McGee".

I don't know if that's their real name, but I call them that.

I like me some B16B00B5.

LOL @ "Tits McGee" that's always good for a lil laugh.

It's a vague reference at best.

Childish? yes
Innappropriate? probably
Funny? yes
Should anyone give a shit: NO!

It wasn't directed at anyone in particular and hidden in a symblic phome binary.

symbolic phome: Using symbols to represent other words, phrases, or letters.

Code:
tit0 Link encap:Nipplenet HWaddr 0b:16:b0:00:b1:e6
          inet addr:69.69.69.69 Bcast:69.69.69.255 Mask:255.255.255.0

          TX packets:420420420 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000

I can't believe how out of proportion this is being blown up to be.

Some might say 'you just don't understand'. However, if it said 'bigdicks', I would not be offended.

Really, are some peoples' lives so empty that they give a shit about this stuff?

Code:
tit0 Link encap:Nipplenet HWaddr 0b:16:b0:00:b1:e6

          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000

Lol that made me laugh here in the office and my co-worker is like "wtf". Thats awesome :D.

Well played, sir!

In a way, I'm comforted by this being a news headline.

It means the world, at this precise moment, has no real problems to report. We're posting stories about unbelievably oversensitive wimps who cry and moan over perceived injustices derived from hex numbers.

Carry on America, carry on.

I don't see where he is blaming a male for inserting the code...does he know who did it? I can see females doing such as well, for various reasons: 1.) They like big boobs; 2.) They want to implicate males as being childish; 3.) They have social disorders or 4.) All of the above.

I know some girls who fit number 4.

Wrong.

One shooting doesn't change things other than to simply convince more people they need to be able to defend themselves.

First... I don't want to derail the topic, but I can't let you have a pass on this. My original comment wasn't even directed at you, it was in response to what PhaseNoise said about things being quiet, calm, and uneventful in the news world.

Second... What an utterly narrow-minded and heartless thing for you to say. Care to see how much it doesn't change things if it's your family members that get shot next time around? Do you have any shred of compassion or decency in you, or are you as cold and emotionless as the hardware you're typing on?

I'm a programmer on the .net stack and this stuff isn't exactly uncommon.

just last week my company found this comment on some Microsoft datetime source-code:

//READ ME IF YOUR FIXING A

followed by a single blank line and the function signature.

Like most companies, Microsoft employes humans, and we humans do dumb things.
