Wishlist for Steam Summer Sale

Rage is on the community choice vote to be 66% off, but have a feeling that Assassins Creed: Revelations is going to win that one.

You guys think the Portal 2 Buddy Pack is worth it? Was thinking of co-op with a friend. Seem slike a steal for 8 bucks.

Wasn't Rage $5 or something a few months ago anyway? AC Rev has yet to be sold for anything close to a good price.

Yep. Co-op is pretty fun. Not sure if there are any co-op user created levels or not, but if there are even better.

LOL got a gamespy email on Bioware games on sale. ME3 discounted to a whopping 35 bucks this far after release. Are they kidding?

Still haven't bit on anything.

You think that's bad? Look at Call of Duty.

I want to see:

Skyrim
Hard Reset
Rage
Max Payne 3
Kingdoms of Amalur

Here you go:

Max Payne 3: $29.99
Hard Reset Extended Edition: $3.75

Rage is on the list to be voted on and Skyrim will most definitively go on sale. Kingdoms has no discounts at all, so I am sad if it won't go on sale.

I wonder if Amalur even can go on sale right now. 38 Studios self published it on Steam and they're dead now.

Picked up Portal 2 and SWFU during yesterday's sale. Today's sale looks a bit drab save for Anno 2070. Thoughts? I heard it has a fascist DRM scheme.

Woot, got SF4 Arcade edition for 9.99 and Max Payne 3 for 29.99

Bring on Skyrim daily deal!

So far I have gotten:

Warhammer Space Marine.
The force unleashed II.
Trine 2.

Some of the deals are still crap.
Anno 2070 retail version: 15 Euro, Anno 2070 Steam deal 30 euro :)

Still, got the Crusader Kings II pack, Warlock and also got good deal on LA Noire

So far I've picked up:

Terraria for the son
Warlock
Divine Divinity

Still waiting on an Arma2 daily or flash sale and then I'm probably done.

Anno2070 runs without internet. However with internet you get a few perks. You have a shareable storage(between saves when playing "continuous mode"), can vote on "elections" for in game perks. With internet you can play the world events and unlock upgrades and other rewards when you complete the missions. The game has multi player and can be a lot of fun when playing with a friend. Multiplayer even has a save option. I payed ~$35 for it and have 100+ hours. Just love building up cities.

Saints Row 3, Darkness 2, $12.50. Buy them, folks. Those are great prices for those games, especially SR3. Runaway value. Same goes for Skyrim at $30.

Hitman Blood Money for $2 and change...there's no excuses if you've never played this fantastic game before. The series (sans Contracts) is probably all marked down. Get the set.

How do you all feel about Serious Sam BFE at $10?

Bit on the Grimrock flash sale, and Civ5 vanilla at 7.50 for the kids.

Definitely worth it at $10, the first few levels are slow but it picks up later on. Nice throw back shooter that actually has fun gun play.

Is Cities XL worth the $10?
been a long time since Sim City 4. I've heard they're competent city builders, but the year to year updates are pretty minimal. But haven't played a Cities XL since the original.

So far, gathered up Unstoppable Gorg, Eufloria, Edge, Indie bundle 2, and Fall of the Samurai for Shogun 2.

Splurged at $12 and change for deluxe.

Wow. I could not be more impressed! Gorgeous. Beautiful engine. Runs smooth as butter with all the eye candy maxed out. Gameplay is fun. Frentic action like I'd expect from a SS game.

They're even planning on DLC in October. I feel great about this purchase! :)

Mmm to bite on Skyrim before yesturday deal expire, or wait and hope for a 75% flash deal. if anything i'll pick up the pack deal on the last day and get FO3 las vegas & skyrim,

Alright, got SR3 just because you said so. :D I normally don't go for the silly type games, but I like your gaming choices.

I picked up the two-pack of Portal 2 for $8 and gifted Blood Money for $2 and change to a friend. Also got Arkham Asylum for $6 and change (now my own copy) for my library. Everything else looks meh.

If you like GTA type games AT ALL, you will adore it. It's the antidote to the super serious GTA 4 and harkens back to old school GTA taken to the next level.

I honestly had more fun playing SR2 and 3 than I did GTA 4.

See also: Just Cause 2.

I tried SR3, didn't care for it. Thought I would based upon what everyone has been telling me and everything I've read/seen, but once I tried it I just couldn't get into it, was a little too over the top.

Spent about $20.

Space Marines: Oh god the blood! This game...fun but repetitive, glad I waited for the sale.
Magicka: Fun but holy hell am I bad at it. Killed myself quite a bit. I need to try multiplayer.
Grimrock: A grid-based dungeon crawl in the spirit of Wizardy, Eye of the Beholder and all those old games. This one is devious, truly devious, and its bringing back some crazy memories. I like it.
EYE: Eh, only spent a few minutes on it, mostly trying to figure out WTF was going on. Skip.
Portal2: Never played it, got it for cheap, still haven't played it.

Man, you got to try it again sometime but when you're in the mood for completely wild and over the top. ;) There's a deceptively robust, deep, and varied game hidden under the craziness. :)

Mostly it's just about memorizing the spell combinations and being able to bust them out quickly. Once you get Lightning and learn to do it fast, you can pwn bosses really easily.

My tally so far, in no particular order:

From Dust
Binding of Issac DLC
Trine 2 (2 copies)
Vessel
Red Faction: Guerrilla
BRINK (I know, I know...for $5, meh, I thought the free weekend was okay so whatever)

I may pick up The Witcher 2 if it goes on a good sale, possibly also a spare copy of ArmA 2: CO if it's cheap enough (though I'm guessing it will only hit $20 so probably not)

Oh yeah, I forgot about Rage! For $10...sure, okay.

Would have liked to have seen 75% off but, eh.

Age of Empire 3 75%, finally something I wanted in this sales. :D

It's an amazing game. I had no regrets buying it at full price.

I saw a lot of people asking for it: Rage at $10. It's up now.

Huge discounts on all AC games, too.

I'd give rage a shot at 75% off, 66% just isn't quite there :p

;)

Even I can be more charitable than that. Rage at $10 is pretty decent.

I'm eyeing Beyond Good and Evil for the next sale. What's the "HD Remastered" version on the consoles really have over the PC version?

AOE3 for $10 seems ok... probably what it should have cost in the first place. I recall enjoying it when it first came out, despite running like shit on my PC at the time.

Also tempted to try out Rage... just dunno if I'd get to it any time soon.
