Huge thanks to Robert!

Thats some serious stuff you go there. Can't wait to see how this turns out. Thats alot of fans in that box lol. Love the view out there. You should get a few more shots of it. Looks real nice and quiet there.

It's absolutely beautiful. Just moved here [Northern AZ] from Seattle for a new job and so far am not regretting it! I'll make sure to throw some more shots up sometime.

i moved from seattle to oahu, HI over a year ago. dont regret it either. :p i think seattle is beautiful too, but man i missed the sun. had to get out. anyway, amazing stuff you got there. i think my whole gaming rig costs about as much as any one of those motherboards. can you give us a little background on all this? are you making a bunch of builds, just giving us some awesome pics and hardware comparisons, or what? i cant wait to see what else youve got up your sleeve. and will there be modding or just building? love that ram, got 2 sticks of 4GB in my amazon cart for about 2 weeks now, just itching to pull the trigger on it.

Exactly, the rain was getting old.

The build originally started with the plans for just an SR-X & an STH10. However, I got some good deals on the other motherboards and decided to make this more of a "project" than a solo build. They're all crunchers though so it won't be wasted.

I do plan on doing a comparison between the 3 and I think people trying to decide between 2P 1366 or 2P 2011 will appreciate that.

In terms of modding/building; I'm still having to make some final decisions on what will be done with the other two boards in terms of casing ;)

I have to say, that Samsung RAM is some of the best I've owned. OC's like nobodies business! Pull the trigger!

Oh man I didn't know Lamptron sells a nixie tube fan controller. Thats awesome

Great choice on the case. Caselabs makes insanely nice cases. I've seen a few of the STH10's in person and they're rock solid. Apparently they are coming out with a MATX that was supposed to be seen last month. But maybe this month! Great looking build can't wait to see it come together.

Well here they are :D

I was taking pictures of the build process... but it seemed unnecessary and was slowing me down hehe so here are a few progress/unboxing pics along with some final pics. I'll be taking a lot more tomorrow with hardware in it in the beautiful AZ sun!

CABLE MANAGEMENT COME AT ME!

Good news & Bad news concerning the build.

Good news: I was able to purchase some serious folding hardware :)

Bad news: The money I had set aside to buy 7990s on launch date is now gone :(

Here some first pictures of the Koolance box!

I have to pick up an allen wrench set as I don't have the right size to finish the installation but I'll be doing that later :)

Quad socket w/ noctuas! Which board is that?

It looks to be one of the Quad G34 boards from Supermicro. Looks like it could be the H8QGi-F maybe?

Looking pretty good so far OP. I love SR-2 mods, so I will probably love this SR-X one!

how do you like your crossover monitor i am almost about to pull the trigger on a pair of those.

Got these for a nice price. I'm sure a lot of you are wondering why I went with such an old card. One because it's me, two because I don't game that often and 5870 quad fire is more than plenty for myself. Lastly, the 2GB of vram over the 1GB ref will very nice for 1440P and over. Paint is a little chipped but I plan on repainting the red accent orange anyway.

I do plan to watercool these. :D

No G-Vans product here folks! This is heavy duty, high quality FC. I wasn't even aware the FC10 had a temperature controller on it and was pleasantly surprised to see it! It also included a 2012 calendar, which I was happy and kind of bummed to see as it's almost 2013...however I flipped it over and saw that it was a 2013 calendar as well :D

Huge kudos to Spawn32 on OCN & Lamptron for sponsoring this! More to come :)

Final shot for today:
_DSC9070.jpg

So basically to update everyone on the other forums.

My SR-2 died, so had to order a replacement which put a huge delay in the build as well as only allowing me to build one of my 2P 2011 setups

On a positive side, my new SR-2 will be here next week, as well as chips for my Z9PE-D8 WS.

I have a couple random things coming in from the DD fire sale, and a second PSU for the STH10 portion.
