Burger King - Original Chicken Sandwich only $1.04 thru 7/1

Nothing against the post but BK just rips me apart. Seems the older I get the less processed food I can eat. Good deal though.... I use to love their italian chicken sandwich but i don't think they've offered that in some time now.

Well when you're younger your body can take so much more abuse like jumping off of roofs or eating shitty chemically enhanced food. Don't worry you're not the only one, I can happily say I eaten fast food maybe 2 times in the last year, and those two times it was on the way to the snow when we left at 6am so McDs breakfast was the only thing available :D

This seems to be the consensus amount most online people.

Personally I think the number of people that eat fast food vs. the number of people on the internet that generally bash it doesn't match up. I mean, any where you go its a good 90% of people that spew "FAST FOOD IS HORRIBLE!!!" while knowing that way more than 90% of people eat fast food.

Hell, if you want to take it for what it is aren't most Americans overweight?

Like ocellaris said...its a $1 chicken sandwich. Sure its processed and not health, buts its $1. Plus, who is to say whats healthy? Like Lewis Black once said, "What might be good for you could kill somebody else." The truth is that sure there's a general healthy guide line but its not going to hurt you to eat some fast every now and then.

Last thing is that I've worked fast food in my life and being curious with these things I've noticed that MOST of the ingredients are not as artificial as you think. Cheese is cheese, bread is bread, hamburger patties are beef (generally not as processed as you think. If it is its normally just to "shape" it to keep consistency), ketchup is tomatoes, etc. The reason why a lot of this stuff is unhealthy is because foods like hamburgers, fried french fries, fried chicken sandwiches, cheese, etc are ALREADY fatty and high in calories no matter if its fast food or home made.

In short, its a $1 sandwich. I eat fast food, you eat fast food, its cheap, its tasty...just eat one and shut up!

Whatever! Homemade versions of fast food items have half the calories and fat and are healthy! Not to mention cost twice as much.

I don't care what the BK website says. When I tried this a few months back, it was processed chicken "meat" shaped into a sponge-like patty, breaded and fried. It is not a chicken breast like Wendy's chicken sandwiches, chick-fil-a's sandwiches, KFC chicken sandwiches, or even Mcdonald's' premium chicken sandwiches.

Look any any of the pictures and try to defend that its not processed shit.

WOW!!! and I stuffed down 3 of em' Yuk!, So that's why I was sucking so bad at gaming last night, my body was shutting down due to all the pipes plugging all up. :(

Last time I had one of them was probably over 10 yrs ago, so I chowed down, and suffered....

^ Wow you had 3 of them in 1 sitting?! I had 2 of them spaced out over 2 days and that's enough. BYOC (bring your own cheese).

Thank goodness the truth about pink slime has been exposed and closing many of those slime factories.

I tried one yesterday, hold the mayo, add honey mustard. It was pretty good for only $1. Big sandwich. I would not of had one if I knew it was 700 calories though!

It says 630 calories on the website. 39g of fat. Knock off the mayo you're probably down to about 550-520 calories and less 10 or so grams of fat. I hate mayo. The most horrific substance ever created by man.

Still a fattening salt-laden sandwich. I love the damn things but I held off the temptation.

I can just feel fast food these days... I used to eat it all the time...now I just stay away. I'd love a tasty cheeseburger and fries.

I got 4 of them and ate 1 and it wasn't very good but it was cheap at least. My wife ate 1 and she hates most fast food but was hungry.

Nutritional value is garbage.

Going to treat my super hyperactive 100mph border collie to the other 2 chicken patties over the next 2 days. he can probably eat it and burn up the fat in no time.
