I will be getting a retina macbook pro
was wondering if i could get it to connect to one of these monitors without buying the dual dvi to displayport adapter?

if buying the multi input works I could do that
 
You won't be able to run the monitor at its full resolution without a Dual Link adapter. There's a cheaper version available from Monoprice, although it doesn't have a USB port on it so you'll be down one.
 
oops i read the top one with dual output
it seems that the $66 one is the only option then
