cheap esxi board (iwill DK8S2 2x opty 270 16gb ram) cheap PE750 1u's

Looking to give my smp board a new home, runs great just got a poweredge 1900 from work for free so i am letting this guy go.

its an Iwill DK8S2 dual socket 940 board with 2x opteron 270's
has 16GB (8x2GB) ddr400 ecc ram pulled from Netapp servers all matching modules
asking $150 shipped or best offer for board cpu and ram

ive been running this machine for well over a year as my in home esxi 4.1 server, ran 6 vm's concurrently without hiccup. (minecraft/terraria/ubuntu lamp stack/2ndary AD/seedbox/ fog deployment) and a few others that didnt run 24/7

only real drawback is lack of onboard sataports, however i used it in concjunction with the now inexpensive supermicro AOC-SAT2-MV8 card and booted from an 8gb CF

also have several dell power edge 750 1u servers for $30-50 depending on configuration (ram/HDD) all in running condition pickup only on these unless your willing to pay shipping

You were able to run esxi on cpus that did not have hardware virtualization? Was this an older version of ESX?
