Craigslist Find of the Day: 1,000lb Transformer

You know that if you showed up with $100 and told the guy's wife you'd take it out of there, he'd be forced to let it go :p.
 
if it won't break 3 of its *own* adjacent parts, its bound to break at least three nearby electronic devices and/or the firewall.
 
I was expecting to see a 15kva transformer stolen off a pole by some crack head.
 
Freakin horrible wine rack though! Can't have them standing up, bottles need to be on their sides.

Would make a kickass motor oil display or something for a transmission shop or a dealership service center. The free publicity would probably pay for itself in the long run.

Did you not notice the six-bottle "gatling" rack that is its right hand? That's where you put the bottles you want to keep. The vertical spots are for the cheap crap you serve to guests you don't like. ;)
 
Honestly, I think this is under priced at $7,000. I'd personally put it up for auction somewhere and watch someone pay like 25,000 for it. It's pretty well done.. Takes a lot of work, and truly art that takes some skill... very unique
