HOT!! SanDisk - Mobile Ultra 64GB microSDXC Class 6 Memory Card $49.99 w/fs!!!

pretty decent deal I think.. Not sure if I would want to have to transfer enough files to justify a 64gb card to a class 6 card though. It is a Sandisk so it will likely run faster then its rated speed.

Hot for MicroSDXC. That's phenomenal storage capacity in your new smartphone on the cheap. TWO SEASONS of your favorite show on the go for $50. It's even a respectable brand.

The class 10 version is available on Amazon for just under $80.

I must be blind, not seeing a 64gb class 10 microsdx sandisk on Amazon... Though I did pick up the one from Bestbuy, thxs!

I don't know why but I bought one. Barely use my 32gb but at least I now have an excuse to put tv shows on there lol.

I got one as well! I had two 16 gigers and it was annoying having to swap them constantly when watching movies or listening to music...this will come in mighty handy!!

Ordered one to use in the Sammy Series 7 Slate. It better work. Others have had luck with it.

That's SD, not Micro SD. Doesn't work in phones, MP3 players, etc.

This is the only reason this deal was good. I just paid 51 bucks for a patriot EP series class 10 with UHS-I. Mine was for my camera though so I didnt need a microSD.

I've only owned class4. Are class 6 noticeably faster?

really depends on what class 4 & what class 6.. Like everything else some brands rate more consecutively then others. I have a PNY class 4 4gb card that can sustain 18mb/s write spread where the CL4 rating it shouldn't be able to get anywhere near that. I have owned other cards, even class 10 that were like 7 or 8 mb max.

That's kind of a pointless statement, isn't it? Micro and full-size are two different products, it's not like you can trim down a full-size and stick it into your cell phone. "$20K for that car? Really? Wow!" "Yeah, but it's only a good price because it's a Fusion. A Focus would suck for that price."

There's a difference between sequential and random speeds too, class rating just guarantees a minimum sequential speed. I think all my brand name cards were underrated tho... Mostly Adata & Patriot with some Sandisk too.

I feel it's too much still for a 64gb card.

No way, class 6+ 32GB cards are still like $30. You can often find deals on them for $25 or even $20 but you're still talking roughly the same price per GB than the larger 64GB SDXC (which usually commands a premium).

Shame I missed out, I would've totally put one of my current 32GB cards on my new Sansa Clip and used the 64GB on my phone or tablet, 80GB would be hot (both have 16GB internal). Hopefully if Best Buy (of all places) is running a deal on them it means prices for microSDXC are otw down.

Would love to score one for $50, $70's too high... Anything more than like 2.5x of the cost of the next size down isn't usually worth it given how much the prices on these things drop every year. 32GB microSD cards were still over $100 two years ago, been $30 or less for a year now.

That's a tremendous deal. I use microSD cards in my SanDisk portable music player, which is said to work well with this 64GB microSDXC card. For such an application the speed of the card is of almost no concern. For $90 you can get a 4GB SanDisk Sansa Clip Zip abd a 64GB card, for almost 68GB of audio.

I paid $57 a little over a year ago for a Class 4 32GB SanDisk microSDHC card and that was a smokin' deal.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

I knew I should have bought it, got caught up in doing stuff that day and forgot.

I can confirm, it is in fact a Class 10... Can't wait to install, gotta format first.

Awesome, mine came in today as well but I'm at work. Hopefully I got a class 10 too, i'll report back.

**update**
Got the class 6, oh well still very happy :D

I also got a class 6, but it's faster then all of my other class 10 32gb microsd.

Not sure what the best tool for in phone sd card speed I should use but, to me this is way better than my old EVO 4G.

Results from my EVO 4G LTE:

SD Tools writes fluctuate between 12-14 MB/s. Reads are 43-46MB/s.

With SD Card tester @2080MB writes starts around 10-9.2 MB/s (progressive decline) and the reads start around 18-15 MB/s (progressive decline).

I like it. though, the writes I can't really tell if it's legitimate "class 10" with SD Card Tester. First time I've used this app.

My Samsung 32GB Class 10 starts at 25mb/s then instantly drops to 8MB/s write speeds, read starts at 15 and ends at 8 aswell.
