Not.

weaker even than top end brazos which has been out for like 2 years now.

Not worth it for the price point.
 
If you want something the size of your palm get a WDTV Live box.
 
actually looks very promising. I've always liked the AMD/ATI hardware for video use. Now if the price is under $200, very good possibility.
 
I hate these little boxes. If I wanted something so extremely limited I might as well just save some money and get an Apple TV for $100, jailbreak it and throw on XBMC.

But, I prefer a more capable HTPC so I'll continue to build my own I guess.

XBMC on the ATV2 runs a bit sluggish, and crashes on large video and music libraries, even compared to Atom-Ion / E350 systems.
 
Which is why I said I prefer a real HTPC over these dinky little boxes. ;)

Use a SQL backend for your library and centrally store fanart, images, etc, and they run considerably better. It's also a snap to set up.
