Been thinking of a GPU upgrade for a little while now, and have more or less decided to take the plunge to the 670 or 680 from my single 5870. My question is, I run a Asus P6X58D mobo which only has PCIe 2.0 slots, any concerns there or are the 2 cards in question ok with this mobo? Also, haven't updated mobo drivers in a while, is it recommended to do so or not particularly necessary for this upgrade?

Edit to add - did some reading and it appears there's little to worry about as regards pcie slots. However, still wondering about my other question as regards mobo/chipset drivers?
Thanks

You will have no issues with your existing chipset/mobo drivers. get the EVGA GTX 670 FTW. :)

Yeah you'll be good. My mobo is PCIE 3 capable but seeing as how I don't have Ivy Bridge I'm rocking 2.0 and it's better than great. 3.66x faster than my 5970? Yes pls.
