One 350W PSU. Tested good, reflective silver color. Free to a good (or bad) home for shipping cost.

Does anybody have a Male-Female VGA cable laying around? I need one to use as a Voodoo 2 pass-through cable. Would prefer a very short one if possible.

I have a Monster 3D II 8MB card, SLI cable, and VGA passthrough cable if you are interested. Unfortunately not free but would be reasonable. PM me if you are.

Meleniumshane90,

If you run across a Socket A motherboard I have a Athlon XP CPU you can use. Should also have a decent Celeron D for a Socket 478 board.

To note, the struggles with Youtube is how hard Flash is hitting the CPU. Flash works a Pentium M quite hard these days. Only real cure is a better processor. If the RAM is a little low, that could be a contributor to the problem.

Yeah, that's why I'm putting together a better PC for them. I was going to use my Foxconn motherboard, but after including a CPU & PSU that can run it, it would be quite a bit more money. They have 3 kids, so I'm going to add a PCI video card to the current system and work on a second one to hopefully give the parents a private computer.

I think I might have an old PCI Geforce 6200 in storage. If you're interested, I'll see if I can hunt it down.

Awesome if you can find it, PM'd (that's what I used to have way back when on my OC'd Celery)

I'm sorry, this will be my last reply as I don't want this to go OT.

What I meant to say was a list of items he actually gave away and to who. I'm too lazy to search.:p I don't want to come off as a douche or anything like that. I want to contribute to his project. I'm not giving out junk so I would need this to be legit and not just someone begging for free parts. It does happen you know. :)

I'm building a 2500k system for myself, I don't think I'll be 'begging for free parts' for an 8 year old system lol. I'm actually all for buying parts for the system, hence why I said "Any tips or heads up on deals will be appreciated."

I've given away my Compaq Presario 5300 (1.1 Ghz Celery, 512MB SDRAM, etc.), several CD Drives / burners, assorted cables, some PC screws, etc. I don't really keep a list of things I give out. I think one guy gave me feedback for something a few years back, but I don't normally associate feedback for freebies.

Right now, priority one is a PCI video card for their Optiplex.

If someone has a decent AGP video card (Radeon 1000+, GeForce 6000+) FS, I'm picking this up.
P4 + 2GB of RAM + decent AGP system should be a good work PC.

(oh, they're on the integrated 845 video chipset right now. There was a PCI video card there that died, which is what started the problem.)

Anybody have an original 30GB Zune that has a good motherboard, but is otherwise broken? I have one that has a messed up charging/interface port. AFAIK, everything else is fine.

Anyone have or know where I can get some Antec rubber hard drive grommets? Been out of stock for a while at Antec and cannot find them anywhere. Need at least three.

Also now looking for a stock AMD AM2+/AM3 HSF, one that includes the clip. I have the bracket that fastens to the mobo, but no HSF.

got one but shipping is going to be pretty costly for this bulky hsf. it wont fit in a small flat rate box. :(

what about your own box? I've had good luck with USPS in that some things are pretty reasonably priced using your own packaging (sometimes cheaper) rather than using flat rate boxes.

I picked up a free mobo from omegatotal that came with an athlon64 3200+ in it socket 939. I don't need the 3200+. PM me if interested.

I have one with back bracket and hsf pay shipping.

I have another offer, and am waiting to hear back on that one. If that falls through, I'll hit you up.

I also have:

A few extra cables from an Antec NeoPower 480W Semi-modular PSU. The PSU went bad, and I have nowhere I can use these. I'll have them until Thursday, then they go in the trash.

sorry, work has been killing me lately. if you haven't already managed to get a hsf, let me know.

Looking for a P4 extension cable. Mine is a little to short to route through the back.

I have a midget-sized iPEX (u.fl) -> RPSMA pigtail cable. Good for putting a desktop antenna on a laptop wireless card... or if you're using said card in a desktop ;) note the Napoleonic proportions and distinct lack of mounting hardware.

$5.15 priority shipping, or $3 for first class with no tracking.

I have some DDR sticks I pulled from working machines, havent tested any of it, just pay shipping.
There are (going by memory) 4 Crucial 512mb DDR333 sticks and I believe 2 other 512mb sticks

(these are DDR sticks for desktops)

) thanks starhawk

dbwillis, you might want to say whether these sticks go in desktops or laptops ;)

just a friendly note...

Heh, and I sent him a PM saying to pester you, a little while ago :D you've done great stuff for me, figured I'd send some business your way in return :p

Thanks for the msg starhawk

I'm your man, cache size matter to you?

nope but i think this board only likes 100mhz fsb so a celeron may be my only alternative. Just tried a p3 667 and it has trouble getting anything faster than 500mhz at 100mhz fsb out of it. It's currently running a 500mhz celeron so if you happen to have any celerons faster than that, it would be great. Just trying to salvage a point of sales system that has a built in lcd monitor with touch capabilities.

OK, I have a stack of 370s, I should be home Saturday night, pretty sure I can fix you up

thanks man, i appreciate it. just let me know how much shipping is and ill get it out to you. No rush on shipping it either. Just tinkering with this old system for fun, not sure what ill do with it yet. :)

Anyone have any 1gb to 2gb usb flash drives laying around that they would like to donate? Only need 1 or 2 for a kids project that I am toying with.

LMK

Just FYI, I had ran across a few boards that would only take up to a 600mhz/100fsb processor. Wouldnt take a 633, regardless of anything.

I'm looking for a PSU that can power a low end dell PC. My friend took the computer to Haiti and didn't change the voltage so it blew up :\.

Also looking for ram for the same unit... The seller never listed which RAM it needs but I'm guessing DDR2? I need at least 1GB if that's not too much to ask.

Here's a link to the computer that she bought.

I will pay for shipping. Any help would be very much appreciated!

Well ugh she's leaving Friday for Haiti where the fallen computer is. I don't think it'll make it in time if it starts shipping even tomorrow.

Thanks anyway guys! :D

dude, look locally, I know 3 different PC salvage shops within 15 min of me with piles of those PSUs for $5 each

Thats not a bad PC. It's pentium dual core, or so the sticker says, so its worth the $5 replacement PSU. And yes, it takes DDR2.

Yes I'll try to ask around. Thanks! I didn't know lol. I hope we can get one in time.
