Diablo 3 at QFHD?

I have been contemplating this for weeks now so let me ask: what would it cost in Canada to build a gaming rig and what components that can play Diablo 3 at a decent framerate and settings on 2x2 HD monitors ? (Actually I have a T221 but I doubt 3840x2160 vs 3840x2400 makes any difference. Perhaps it matters I do not really need any bezel correction cos I do not have any.) The highest results I found http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/diablo-iii-performance-benchmark,3195-5.html are for 2560x1600 which is only 4MP not 9MP... however, I can also see raising the resolution from 1680*1050 to 2560*1600 only caused a 25% dip instead of the 50% or so I would expect. Surprising. Specifically, I have seen 6950 1GB and 2GB cards now below $200, I wonder whether they would be any good.

I have an Antec Solo and an OCZ 500W Fatal1ty PSU lying around.

I live in Canada. Have friends in the USA however if necessary.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.

Nah. My case is too small and my PSU is a PoS.

6) Will you be overclocking?

Not unless it saves me a lot of money. I am not too comfy with OC.

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?

It's an IBM T221 at 3840x2400. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_T220/T221_LCD_monitors 9MP. Has fans. You could kill someone with the external PSU. Old style IBM hardware

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.

No. And no, I will not run this machine under Linux. That's madness

Also, get a new PSU and case. That case won't fit a lot of GPUs and that PSU is just crappy in general. I would barely recommend it for a low power build.
