The ‘Flame’ cyber espionage worm is one of the most complex threats ever discovered?

Flame is a sophisticated attack toolkit, which is a lot more complex than Duqu. It is a backdoor, a Trojan, and it has worm-like features, allowing it to replicate in a local network and on removable media if it is commanded so by its master.

It's hilarous because deep inside we all know from where it's coming from.

A 20 gigabyte virus. That sounds unbelievable. But from the same article, the average trojan is 200MB. Are trojans bloatware these days too?

That looks like typo - for example Stuxnet size was less than 2MB.

Big surprise.

Some defense contractor is making big bucks to write Cyber weapons.

Total size of Malware is 20MB not GB, and the infector, "Flame" is rather small it just calls what modules it needs. actual size depends on what modules are loaded, appears that the CC servers customize the payload according to what they need on the target machine. this looks more like a remotely control app. more like a Drone attack than a scripted attack.

Just another version of using a more powerful military to attack a weaker target, may not involve Drone strikes and SEAL teams, but is effectively the same thing. A large "Nation state" has the resources to develop a Cyber weapon that can make use of resources not normally available "Write in a backdoor to your software, or else".
