Man if this isn't the most frustrating game with a bad frame rate I think I'll trade it in today before it looses it's value quickly., It has stuff going for it but alot of it feels like a empty world unlike Dark Souls.

I tired the game again it gets intresting later on after the first 3 hours or so Ran into the serpent boss now taking one of the heads from that boss on a Cart. I still think the Frame Rate is pretty bad cause the game trys to do so much for a console.

I don't own this product but have looked at it. I can deal with difficulty but cannot deal with bad frame rate.

Get The Witcher 2 or Dark Souls. Dragon's Dogma is kind of meh IMO. If you really want to play it, be sure to install on the 360. PS3 is the better version.

Here is what one reviewer said...

"Walking along a road, your Pawns might start going crazy over some invisible enemy that will then suddenly appear out of nowhere. Big fights cause slowdown that can freeze the screen for seconds at a time on the Xbox 360 version. Dragon's Dogma runs much better on the PlayStation 3 than on the 360, with a smoother frame rate and fewer streaming problems; if the 360 version is your only choice, a hard disk install is mandatory to make the game playable."

taht sux, was looking forward to buying and playing this on PS3. Unless there is an upate to fix framerates?

I played the demo and it definitely has potential, but the thing that annoyed me most was having the game paused in battle just so a pawn can twat on about something like "aim for his wings!" or "I've got him!". Fucking annoying.

I enjoyed the demo and will pick it up to encourage more stuff like it.

To encourage mediocrity? While Dark Souls and The Witcher 2 or even Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii) are considered the best thing this gen, being praised by critic and gamer alike? Ok, have fun. The game is supposedly so repetitive you’re better off replaying the demo until you get bored.

I'm having a blast with it. It's a fun game if you don't expect it to be the best at everything.

Combat is fun, exploring is fun (plenty of things to find). The ability to combine things/make things is great and something that was lacking in Dark Souls.

If you want the game for the combat/exploring and not the storyline/dialogue (It's not a bioware quality game) then I would recommend it.

I think if the game was released by a western developer it would be getting higher reviews across the board.

Hell look at Diablo III, many critics bash it's story but turn around and award it 9.0."

As far as graphical hitches/slowdowns. I have it on 360, I installed it to my HD before even playing it but I haven't run into any major slow downs or hitches or anything outside of some pop up's that are annoying.

everyone i see streaming it seems to like it. it actually looks badass.

When you get some spells later on or more skills it's really fun the first two hours or so is kinda of a drag.

It's not a totally broken bug as they did put some handling in there for in case that happens. Obviously they didn't completely prevent clipping through the meshes and falling, but it seems they at least handled what happens if you fall too far below the world, as the character appeared to teleport back up top.

I've played plenty of games where if you fall through the world you just keep falling. Occasionally there are games where you land at the bottom, but usually there is no way to get back up without restarting, especially if you don't have a way to kill your character.
