Last night I was getting kicked out of D3 every 5 minutes (or less) with the error "You have been removed from the game" - Error 3007. I read somewhere that it had something to do with TCP and UDP timings and you should adjust them in your router. The POS ADSL router I was using had no settings in it, so I borrowed a spare one from a friend, did a factory reset, and connected. Instantly the 3007 error disappeared. Played for 3 hours straight before going to bed without one issue.

I've played for hours in WoW, Tera and other MMOs on my old modem without any problems. D3 just seems to be really touchy when it comes to connection.

The 3007 error as far as I know is caused by having a demon hunter character and equiping a shield on your follower, instant game crash and it causes your character 95% of the time to get wiped

I got frustrated with sitting around Tuesday and just changed my preference from Americas to Europe and voila! That cured ALL my connection issues. Just had to start a new character though, so saw same old thing over again.

Happened the most for me on my Monk with no followers.

I got the 3007 error when I played a Barbarian while wearing my 1993 Buffalo Bills AFC Champions t-shirt, and not having paid my state taxes.

To solve the 3007 disconnect error, I switched my class to Wizard, put on a polo shirt (only one with crocodile emblem worked), changed RWIN in Windows registry from 32,368 kilobytes to 32,464 kilobytes by editting TcpWindowSize Dword located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters, created a file called d3net_enable.ini in C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III\Data_D3\PC\MPQs\Cache\base containing the line bFloatPointRenderServer=2048, threw my router in the freezer for 17 minutes, adjusted my schlong so it now hangs to the right, and paid my state taxes for the 2011 tax year.

I would recommend the above if you are getting the 3007 disconnect error.

LOL

might as well delete system32

that error just killed my level 15 hardcore character.

I was fighting along just fine and then the error occurred and I was disconnected from the game. I logged back in and my char was showing as dead. What a bunch of horse malarky...

Is that for real? I ask because I got lucky than. I've only played a DH and as soon as I got the templar I tossed a shield on him and haven't had an issue yet.

This is the way my friends solved it.

Good post! Reminds me of being on a tech forum in 1999.

Only if you're previously worn the shield and take it straight from equipped on you to equipped on him.

I like error 31017 personally when buying stuff from the AH. Try to buy gloves A. Get error 31017. Well soemone else must have purchased them; let me keep shopping. Gold is removed from account. Hmm maybe I did get them? Camp completed screen for 10 mins. Get message that the auction didn't go through and here is your money back. :(

Go back to AH and try to buy another pair of gloves. Error 31017 and money is gone again. Think to myself well I guess someone else was quicker than me! Keep shopping and purchase gloves B. Stoked to finally get a pair of gloves! Go to completed screen to get my refund and gloves. :)

There are 2 pairs of gloves there. WTF??? SOB! Now I'm 1k gold from a new bow. :(
