GTX 680 In Stock Thread

anyone know if this is the correct config to get statusegg to watch for 680s and 690s?

That looks alright to me the only difference is for just 680's you could have 256 bit in the box where you have 690

I just got a galaxy 680OC 4gb card today! I think I like this card enough to get rid of my 2gb EVGA cards. They didn't oc as well.

This thing oc's like CRAZY....it hit 1325 gpu effortlessly, and doesn't pass 60C at load...The cooler isn't bad, its not as quiet as accelero but definitely leagues better
than reference. So far i'm pleased.

Here's my 3dmark11 score:

where did u get it?

It was on preorder last week at amazon, i got in before they took it down. I didn't think it would ship at all to be honest, LOL. It was only 569.99

You wouldn't say that if you ordered an "instock" item from TD that actually is out of stock, while TD holds your funds hostage for 2 weeks straight.....

TD sucks.

i bet you guys would have better chances getting a bnib 680 on the fs threads, thats how i got my last 680 for sli

Has there been any solid info to show the TOP version reaches noticeably higher clocks?

Mine will do 1310mhz on the core 24/7 100% game stable. Your not going to see much anything past 1325-1330 because of voltage limitations on all gtx 680s at this point. The TOP does have the highest stock overclock of any gtx 680 out right now. I know one hard member did have have a TOP edition that would artifact at stock but you can rma it.

The OC model has the same DirectCU II cooler and 10-phase power regulation so the only difference is just the higher stock clocks. Who knows how tightly ASUS is binning chips but more than like the OC model will reach about the same max clocks since like you said there's the voltage limitation on all GTX 680's at this point.

Also they just popped back in stock at Amazon:

Btw the top version has been having a lot of problems in games at its stock clocks almost like they are unstable. I was waiting for one but I just bought the oc version and oc'ed the shit out of it past the top versions clocks and no problems so far.

Wow I just looked at your link and 650 is kinda high. I picked one up at excaliburpc.com for 550 and one locally for 540. I think that website still has them in stock.

There are a couple people with that issue.

That's because your late. It was available for quite a while direct from Amazon earlier today at $529.99.

Only one issue that Ive heard of on here. Theres nothing to say that the OC edition will run at those clocks either. The TOP is guaranteed to and if it doesnt you can RMA it. More of a sure thing in my opinion.
