If I get my other system online before the 25th, I'll have it fold for T32 as well.

I think you guys are misleading yourselves into believing that joining T32 is having any effect upon EVGA at all. You will not have "beaten us twice" unless you put up [H]'s name in the Challenge and compete against us. Of course, we all know the answer to that one. Joining onto another team ad-hoc isn't much more than playing like it has any effect. If you want to "make a statement", then compete as yourselves, otherwise this is just hollow-talk and effect. EVGA isn't winning CC, not even close, so the real effect of your joining T32 is to hopefully keep OCN from winning. On that note, I will say three-hoorahs!!
I know all about that and understand. You guys may have more fun doing as you are doing now...helping out another team. Helping out the T32 guys is just another way of participating and Adac was helpful this year in trying to get people to "think outside the box" a bit more for the contest design. I'm pleased to see that T32 is doing well (in the #1 slot)..really am. My main point was that anyone that is trying to hurt EVGA is wasting their time for this year's CC. Help out T32...that's OK/fine and if I were them, I'd welcome help from a power-team like [H] too. It's all good...Because we didn't compete this year, if we do compete next year we will either suck (because we won't have a 'growth' category), or we will completely rock (because the only way that a growth category would work for us would be compared to the last time we were in the Chimp Challenge, and ppd production has improved so much since then it would be unfair). Either way, the first year we compete again won't be a good year at all.
Thanks Skillz for the offer, but I don't want your team to miss that 900 Million goal for May.
The minute the Chimp Challenge is done, you'll have an extra hand working to make that goal into a reality.
I'll help you guys out, then you can help us out at the end of the month. Win-win for both teams.
All kinds of units are allowed, right?
i dont have much but the ppd i do make will be pointed here after the CC also
yep any flavor you can fold
Our race has gone very well so far - and that was expected. Our team production jumped significantly in December and January, and has remained at that higher ppd, ever since. Other teams in the CC, did not have that 4P goodness boost, to that extent.
Another big factor was recruiting - and I.M.O.G. played a big role in that, along with the_cultie, (and several others), who have a gift for it, surely. Which brings me to the point of this post, which is to thank all our new folders who have joined us: The Benching, Rosetta and SETI teams. From The Raptor Pit, (where the former team captain stole the team name!!), Tom's Hardware (where I couldn't even find their FAH forum!), and now, clubcivic.com!
Last, but certainly not least, is the several members of [H]ardOCP, who have gifted us with a LOT of points over the course of this race.
Reading in their forum, [H]ardOCP had a goal of reaching 900 Million points in May, and they've lost that, because they helped us out. Well good grief, I want to help them reach their goal, just like they're helping us reach ours, in the CC!
The CC finishes at Noon on the 25th. That leaves us 6 1/2 days left in the month. So I'm asking for volunteers, AFTER the CC, to help me, help [H]ardOCP, to their goal. I'll be using this:
folding name: OCFthanks[H]
team number: 33
Use your current race passkey, or our public passkey for the race, if you prefer.
passkey: 3311d92fd7ee331bd66dfe6eea01708b
Whether you want to help out the whole 6 1/2 days, or just gift one work unit, I hope you'll join me in thanking our friends at [H]ardOCP.
We also have our own teams to thank, as well. The U.S.S. Poo Flinger has some other ports of call: our SETI and Rosetta teams, and our visiting folding forum members, as well.
So keep all the above in mind, but right now, I'm looking for a few good volunteers, to help me say thanks, to the [H]ardOCP crew.
The Hardware Canucks forum has been dealing with a hacker defacing the site for days. I hope it's not part of this competition. Apparently some part of the forum software or extensions has a vulnerability. They've been trying to bring it back and remove the vulnerability but then the hacker gains access again. Our team has about zero communication.
If they tried that here on [H], Steve and Kyle would've found the hacker's currentaddress...and redirected predator drones to blow it up by now.
Good to see the CC has triggered some camaraderie between a few teams. Good to see gryphon still folding.

Still Beloved member, and I wait for your return. Thanks! But leaving folding was never on the table
See you soon, [H]. Save us a spot in your top producer's list: OCFthanks[H]
In stone? No.Congrats T32, a well-deserved Jaded Monkey!
Hey Adak, I have an idea regarding CC organization, would it be fine if I posted that in OCF Folding subforum? It's suggesting kind of a substantial change...
I'm going to link it here at [H] too, I'm hoping it might convince [H] to re-join CC
No pressure [H] friends, but CC would have been more fun with [H]. I'm hoping nothing is written in stone...
Congrats T32, a well-deserved Jaded Monkey!

In stone? No.
In the blood of past cc participants? Yes.
Thanks Adak!
Kendrak, with all due respect to [H], and I have a ton, I will post it here too.
I can only hope you and the [H]orde can read it with an open mind. It's really different from what you know about CC now
