I'm lost. NBA 2k12 is on the PC last I checked. :confused:
 
Yeah it is a sad game. A poster child for defective game developers. Just so weird how games are released in an obviously buggy state and then never fixed. Worse yet, they get "patched" aka bf3 and are even more fucked up than before. So annoying. Kind of reflective of the general state of affairs today.
 
NBA 2K12 plays fine for me, it's MLB 2k12 that's giving me problems. I can't even play MLB 2K12 because there's a bug that crashes my computer, I shouldn't have to fear having my computer restart when I'm playing a game. Also don't even bother playing online, it just lags even though the person I'm playing is 20 minutes away. I haven't tried online for NBA 2K12 yet though.
 
Online doesn't work. At all. I tried the fixes. Have installed it on three separate computers on at least 5 new OS installs. I still have to sign in every time I want to play the game. Agree to the terms, manually enter my user name and id just to be told, servers are not available. Generally, the game works ok for single player with some weird bugs. I have seen a wide variety like the youtube video here as well as the game just crashing at certain points and staying that way so that you can never progress. Movement and balance issues are rampant too. The main issue is still the multiplayer, that is why most people play sports games online. Piss poor.

I think more people play 2k11 and 2k10 now? lol

I was amazed this game even came out last year since sports have basically been dead on the PC for years, which is a shame.

Sorry the game got ruined for folks because they really had done a damned nice job on the PC version of this game.
 
NBA 2k12 is one of my favorite PC games. Great graphics, and intelligent franchise play.

I play it several hours a week while running on the treadmill.

I'm probably setting myself up here, but my man cave has a treadmill on one end and a couch / projector on the other end.

My desk is in the middle and has a nice computer that powers all three spots.

Sports games with a wireless gamepad are great while on the treadmill. They turn a chore into something fun.

I used to play Madden, but when EA dropped it for the PC, I switched to NBA2K.

I think 2K Sports does a great job, and I'm thankful they support the PC gaming community.

I play madden on my beat to hell and back 3 times 360 while on my eliptical. I agree it works great. Don't have the eliptical in the pc room though I would probably play 2k12 too if I could. Single player only of course.
